You seriously, SERIOUSLY underestimate what having a red name on the scanner box means to just about everyone else on the server.
I know that we'll get some "Engagabubble, we at war, no RP anymore" but the official Order stance on Zoners has been so far "Bend over and prepare yourselves Zoners!" so the fact that hostility between Order and Zoners that has primarily been coming from Order is now codified and Zoners can defend themselves is not, in my mind a bad move.
Actions have consequences, the Order is now feeling the consequences of their actions and this will also have repercussions, we can't predict how this will play out in it's entirety and it would be foolish to try. I view this as a continuation of RP and moving it into lore. We can't stay stagnant all the time and this is the biggest shake up to happen to the Zoners in ages.

And you act like the Order is some super capable and well resourced group, desppite them losing almost all their toys inRPO when they lost their planet.
I will refrain from questioning the zoner caps' legitimacy and how they more or less appeared out of thin air.
Truthfully, none of the two sides are super capable or well resourced, and none should harbour so many capital ships.
But to comment over caps and inRP when zoners can hardly prove their own is ill advised.
To be honest and comment over this rephack, I think the fault falls on both sides, neither the zoners nor the Order were... angels in their conduct towards one another.
Still, it would be ideal to apprehend this change as an opportunity to do something good for it, and I address it to both sides. Community, you have been proved that inRP actions adhere server side consequences. Why lament when you can make something good out of it?
The Order can facilitate RP to create other allies, it can also facilitate RP to... repair bonds with the Phoenix (I honestly do not understand where does Phoenix fit in this), and so on and so on. Why must we instantly think about the unfortunate aftermath of pointing guns at one another as a by-product of rage, drama and QQ?

Because a lot of players look for easy pew, more than to the roleplay. And instead of sanctioning such behaviour, both factions were given a loaded weapon - that's my opinion at least.

It would be logical if Zoners declared The Order their enemy and the latter would just simply "secure" bases for their own gain in such situation.
I look forward for Zoner-Order War now.
You what mate?
You want to give the Order Zoner bases as a reward for attacking Zoners?

That if the Core would let such thing happen. Like letting Order take over another Station and not give $#&% about it, that's how it sounds to me. You all are forgetting about them.
On topic - Order pretty much asked for this with their current actions. If they acted differently the ZA-Order alliance would have been intact even today too. But hey, they might realize that when it's too late. Decisions have been taken, one side (or both) will suffer because of this decisions, all we can do is collect the tears and send them where they belong - Temple of the damned.
