Buenas noches, members of the Bretonian Government:

I am pleased to make your acquaintance once again. If you do not remember me, I am Capitan Diego Rodriguez, acting commander of the 9th Cruzados Maltesas, the premier strike-fleet of the Holy Knights of the Crimson Cross. As before, I come to you with a proposition I wish to bestow upon the Government, in the hopes of bettering both of our relations and serving the needs of Bretonia and Malta simultaneously for the better.

As I outlined in my last discussion with you, the Cruzados have moved a majority of their fleet forces to the Southern Taus, performing attacks against the Gallic Royal Navy and their fierce supporters. However, we've encountered a serious issue when combating these heretics and I believe you may be able to help us in this regard.

This is a technical readout of the RM-3C "Tridente" Gunship used by our Cruzados. As you may notice, it is a rather dated design, and one that is not meant for the current strategems employed by the Gallic forces. Their fighter deltas, as you may know, are typically supported by heavy gunboats that are adept at destroying our anti-snubcraft gunships. Yet, their heavy gunboats remain agile enough to remain undeterred by our larger capital vessels, leaving them a serious threat to our fleet compositions. While the personnel aboard Valetta and other shipyards of Malta have created designs that may work to our advantage, their design and construction would take years that, as you may have noticed, we simply do not have against the Gaul heretics. This is where I believe you can come in.

With the blessing of the Royal Government of Bretonia, I would request the ability to requisition (2) 'Churchill' class Heavy Gunboats, the kind of which normally employed by your esteemed armed forces. The Cruzados would assist in the shipment and construction of the vessels, and take over full maintenance responsibility once the vessels were constructed and purchased from Bretonian Mining and Manufacturing, and additionally, we would use the requisitioned vessels exclusively against Gallic forces and their registered privateers - not against any other force, especially your allies in Liberty.

I understand completely if you are unable to accept this request, but do keep in mind our ability to assist your beleaguered forces in and around the Leeds area will be severely hampered without this requisition.

Greetings Capitan Diego Rodriguez,
I don't mean to offend you but it was unusual to receive this specific request from you. We are allies in this war and we share a common deadly enemy endangering both sides so don't be confused of our respond. The War Cabinet have voted to deny your request. I am unable to share in full details the reasons behind our decision but since we consider your fleet a friendly force, will only say this - we don't build these gunboats at this moment. Their numbers are limited and we would like to hold on to them.
I hope you will understand our situation and respect our decision. That what is unable now might be available in future - only time will tell.
