Topic: Convoy Shipping, Graves Station, Dublin system to Nuremberg, Munich system
Convoy Participants :
BES Lawrence
BES Goldsworthly
BES Pendragon
ExSec Miranda O'Neal
Convoy Information :
The Convoy moved from Graves station to Nuremberg carrying Gold Ore. BES Goldsworthly and Pendragon started together and were met as promised by Miranda in Cambridge. We proceeded via the Omega 3 and 11 systems and returned with Aluminium and High temperatur alloy for Newcastle.
Convoy Incidents :
The jourrney itself was quite eventful. We encountered pirates, Bretoninan Armed forces (battleships and carriers and defect steering systems.Right at the beginning ExSec Miranda fought off a pirate but was badly damaged and had to return to New London to repair her fighter. Captain Dan and I continued the journel, which almost lead to our doom. Immediately after we arrived in the Omega 3 system we were encountered by two big pirates. We decided to make a run to Aland shipyard via the jump lines near Freeport 1. My ship was damaged during our flight but fortunataly the BAF forces I mentioned were waiting for the pirates and gave them a lesson.
After repairs in the shipyard we continued our journey to Nuremberg. We met Captain Wallece in the New Berlin system and proceeded to sell our cargo and load the cargo for our return trip to Newcastle.
In the Jumpline from New Berlin to Bonn something tragic happend however. Due to a malfunction in the steeringsystems of the Pendragon the ship collided with the BES Lawrence and was destroyed. Luckily there was just enough time for the crew and me to leave the ship in the escape pots. I had to buy a new ship in New Berlin and after buying new cargo in Nuremberg proceeded to Bonn where I found Captain Miranda and Wallace waiting for me. The BES Goldworthly had already left, because their Captain had very important meetings in New London, that he could not rescedual.
With our escort we proceeded back to bretonian Space and had no further incidents. After selling my cargo I sold the Reihnland ship and am now again the proud owner of a bretonian Shetland Transport.

Topic: Mining Operation with BMM and Convoy Shipping, BMM-Goldfield, Dublin system to New Berlin, New Berlin system
Convoy Information :
BMM-Jimothy.Breacon, BMM-Conquest
The Convoy origionally started out as a mining operation. The miners BMM-Jimothy.Breacon, BMM-Conquest and BMM-Conquerer loaded the Lancaster and Goldsworthly, while Merlyn provided security. When the tower was full of gold ore the Conquest, Merlyn nad Jimmy.Breacon returned to their homes and Miranda, Lawrence and Pendragon joined the conwoy to New Berlin. As additional security the BMM- Conquerer joined in. We proceeded via the Omega 3 and 11 systems and returned with Side arms for the Police forces of New London.
Convoy Incidents :
The jourrney itself was a very eventful one. We encountered lots of pirates and defect steering systems. The pirates this time grew so bold that they attacked our convoy in the Cambridge system. Luckily only one of our ships was affected, the rest was converted to Cambridge and waited there while ExSec Miranda dealt with the pirate bomber and BMM-Conquerer finished of the pirate gunboat. Their actions were greatly appreciated and for the rest of the journey they dined with the different ship Captains and lacked nothing.
The other pirates we encountered were sufficiently cowed so that they retreated before us. But again the Jumplines deterred one of our transports and the convoy had to wait at the stuttgart system for it. After selling the gold ore in New Berlin the convoy split up. While the Pendragon and Lancaster proceeded back under the protection of ExSec Miranda the rest stayed in New Berlin for a refit of their ships and some well earned rest. With our escort we proceeded back to bretonian Space and had no further incidents.

So, your ExSec chaps keep bothering me, asking where you've got to. Something to do with you wandering off in a bout of senility in Rheinland or somesuch. I assured them that you were fine last time I heard from you, but that was indeed some days past - thank god. What on earth have you been up to, and will you check in with your chaps and chapettes and put their minds at rest? Good grief.

Ah my most respected coworker, greetings and salutations. I trust your concern has not soiled your blessed disposition and I trust we can have many pints in our local cantina-bar, where in private I will tell you all about my many encounters with the blasted Jerry.
Maybe I could even show you some of the fascinating facts about our Lord Jellosimous Bleu III, that I learned in Rheinland. It is not too late to make a change for the better and accept him in your life.
Might I also be allowed to enlighten you to the wonders of Gallic cuisine. Seems you haven't had nearly enough in prison.
Alright there Andy! I am perfectly fine, everything is absolutely in order. Although speaking of malingering gits, I did have a run in with the blue bastards in Rheinland. They were posing as BDM officers this time as well, desperately trying to create an international incident. I honestly didn't think it was possible, but somehow they are getting progressively worse at hiding themselves. There was another BDM agent over there who wasn't exactly part of the flock, and even he noticed things were off.
With all that in mind, you should make your chaps read through the Director's notes about the jellies. The blue buggers have been getting more a lot daring recently.

Good day, Director,
I was having a very good time on planet New London when I got called on emergency channels. Turns out there were transports in need of immediate assistance down in the Omegas. So here I was, in the middle of my leave flying through half of Bretonia to assist my collegues and then I saw it - the pirate Silent Scorpion flying around Freeport 1 in Omega 3 after having successfully attacked and pirated a Bowex convoy. He had the audacity brag about it to me too. I found myself very tempted to engage and destroy him on the spot, but alas, I had to keep to Zoner laws...
***grumbles something about useless Zoners and their stupid laws and conspiracies***
Regardless, I recorded him basing off of the Freeport to launch his attacks against our transport vessles. All evidence can be found <here>.
On another note, I would like to formally request a transfer to the Exploration and Security Division, with my brother Tristan taking over captaincy of my Shetland - the BES Rufus.
Edmund Corbett I wonder what my rank is...

Convoy Information:
Setting off from -hic- Dublin after having their holds filled of gold ore, the convoy made for New Berlin. The trip was relatively uneventful. We did, howe-hic-, near to Norfolk hire 'DragonRider' - a freelancer - who was offering us additional escort. Faced with the prospect of babysitting four transports on my own, it was a quick hire. He turned out to be bad for conversation though. I like conversation, so, -hic- hasn't made my contacts list.
Despite the engine troubles off the BES Pendragon (-side note, Frederic, have the lads on Scarborough take a good look at those for me would ya?), we reached N-hic- Berlin without incident. Having swapped the cargo for Rheinbeer, we met a miner by the name of Claus Volkmann. Charming fellow, we bought his services for some Aluminium -hic- Ore for the return journey.
Again, the trip was uneventful, save various engines troubles and Ageira trade lane malfunctions. We made for Southampton, dropped off cargo for some well-earned credits.
And....urgh... Ed? Learn to hold your drink better next -hic- time before playing any more -hic- drinking games... Next time your -hic- carrying yourself to your quarters.

Wonderful, Mr Corbett! It is good to see yet another employee choosing the glamour and adventure of Exploration and Security over those idling, responsibility-shirking Trade Combine dullards. Consider your contract fully transferred!
As for Silent Scorpion, we've had a few run-ins with him and I'll relay this to some other chaps. This evidence is very good indeed so rest assured it will not go without being used.
Welcome aboard, and now quickly make yourself useful.

To: Bowex InfoNet Priority: Medium Topic: Omega 3 incident. Again.
Convoy Participants:
BES Johnson - Andrew Peterson.
ExSec Casey and Tamara.
ExSec Miranda O'Neal.
ExSec "Brown".
Convoy Information: Initially a fairly standard run. I'd laid over on Planet New Berlin for the night after yesterday's convoy, and the other chaps had headed home while I got some administrative duties done. Today, I loaded up with Side Arms from the Ring and then headed for home.
Convoy Incidents: For the duration of the journey between New Berlin and Omega 7, the trip was as uneventful as a stroll through the interior of Clarke's cranium. Omega 3, as ever, was where the trouble could be found. As I passed Freeport 1, who should undock (again), but Silent.Scorpion?
Naturally I put an immediate distress call out for ExSec support, seeing as he effectively had me pinned at the Freeport. After a few minutes of 'illuminating' discussion, I was joined by the ExSec duo Casey and Tamara. During this time a Pelican transport called Jackdaw also undocked and cruised away towards Cambridge. I didn't pay it much heed.
I warned Scorpion not to follow us or he'd be getting a taste of antimattter from the pair's bomber. As of late, he's been waiting for our transports outside the Freeport, then cloaking and (generally unsuccessfully) attempting to follow us down the lanes. Most irksome. Ms Miranda O'Neal was also en-route from the Cambridge gate, waiting to join the escort detail.
Two lanes away from the Freeport, so, roughly 14k away, the lane was dropped by none other than Jackdaw who it transpires was actually an aspiring pirate. Not a very successful one either. He ordered us to stop, so I ordered him to die. Seemed to be a fair exchange. Scorpion dutifully turned up at this point and demanded we pay his unfortunate accomplice 5 million credits. We politely declined, although this is watertight evidence of his skullduggery and the fact that he is basing his attacks from the Freeport.
Needless to say, we turned about and set a course for Sprague, it being relatively close-by and a friendly holding. Jackdaw was served a delicious plate of void pâté, courtesy of Casey while Scorpion followed him through a few short minutes later with a large helping of Tamara's 'antimatter surprise'. The AB1 with Mr(?) Brown at the helm arrived in time to oversee the grand finale. A positive result for the company all-round. There is of course still the unpleasant matter of the pirates basing off the Freeport (and I had been led to believe the Zoners had taken action already), but there we go.
