A lone Onuris fighter scouring through the Solar System's void drew close to the stationary cruiser, scans only picking up the standard issue outfit of weapons and ordinance with a retrofit for a small cloaking device mounted at the backside. Only two life signs registered inside.
Jason lowered the engine output as they approached hailing distance."We're almost there, ma'am. Scanners clear all the way so far, nothing unusual."
Admiral Grey lay in wait on her seat with arms and legs crossed, seemingly deep in thought."Not yet at least."she mumbled out loud.
He then turned to glance at his passanger out back, her usual sturdy visage adopting an unusual stiffness even for her normal self."Everything alright ma'am ? You don't look like your usual self."
Liara blinked before gazing upwards on the walls of the inner hall"It's probably nothing.."she replied casually, her companion however knowing better after spending some time with her during several missions in the past, suddenly dropping the military bravado"If only that were as easy. So what is it ?"
She seemed slightly tense, though apparently for nothing. This was a civilian ship, unregistered under any sort of threat in the Order records as of yet."Can't shake one of those wrong feelings since we departed Akabat. Still, it's probably nothing."
The pilot shook his head before reverting his attention to flying.
A secure channel was established with the cruiser shortly afterwards"This is Agent Morigan. I have a guest on board and we're on an approach vector, requesting docking clearance and instructions. Over."
The lone Corvo was rather.. Plain to look at from the outside. It didn't seem to have a very heavy plating of armor, having something which civilians would use normally. Nothing military grade. The thing sure wasn't built for fighting. An indepth scan would show that the weapons actually had no power running to them, although it appears the shields have been bolstered slightly. The specs would have to be taken from the internal computer.
It takes a few minutes, although a response finally finds it way to the approaching vessel. The voice was a male, sounding to be about the same age as the person they were planning to meet. "Mmm? That's right, Jess told me that you were coming. Mooring point is active, i'm sending the docking-data now. That, or just follow the lights which turn green instead of red. I personally like the lights. It's more exciting docking manually. Of course it also scratches the hull if you do a bad job. Uhh.. At any rate, i'll let her know that you're here."
A section of the mooring point below flickering to a bright green color, to allow the vessel to dock and offload the occupants. It seemed it shouldn't have any problem staying moored.
Inside, was a standard mooring tunnel up to a crossroad. Three other directions. Thankfully, the person they were looking for (At least one of them) had already found her way to the junction, and was leaning against a wall. Jessica gives the newcomers a slight smile. "Hey there, glad you could make it out. Uh.. The layout is a little non-standard, sorry if you're used to a normal Corvo. Jack knocked out a lot of walls, expanded rooms and changed a lot of the place. Before it was too.. Professional. We live here, it was sorta nice to get things into a position where it was actually comfterable."
Motioning with her hand, going straight ahead. They soon were at a living room type area. It seemed the deck above has been knocked out and expanded upwards. Carpet was on the ground instead of metal. A TV, a little bar area, and a sitting area was present in this section of the vessel. "Have a seat! Glad you could get out here. Ae' should find her way down pretty soon."
The pair lay in wait by the cargo bay door as it slid open before stepping out. Both of them outfitted somewhere in between casual and military attire, looking just slightly out of place."Are we clear on everything previously discussed ?"she seemed to ask the man as they walked the corridor."Understood, ma'am."
As they approached the junction where they were expected, Liara took the lead and went on to greet Jessica"Hello there. Thank you for having us."she replied with a faint yet honest smile, Jason himself only replying with a silent bow of his head as he stood one step behind Grey and looked around wherever they walked.
Once within the living room, Liara made herself comfortable on the nearest seat somewhat close to her host, her companion taking a rigid, usual stand by the entrance, not uttering a word. Hospitality, or receiving it for that matter, did not seem the man's strong spot, better left to his own devices.
"I couldn't help but notice some refreshments. Do you happen to include green tea on that list by chance ?"she inquired, seeming to already make herself at home, her attitude and mood seeming to suggest this visit was treated as off-duty.
Jess smiles a bit. "Green tea, Raspberry tea, sleepytime tea whatever that is, you're lucky. One of my sisters good friends if Kusarian, she doesn't let the stocks get low. Just wait one moment, i'll bring you out a cup." Walking out of the room quickly and takes a sharp right. Seems like the kitchen was nearby. The vessel was designed for a crew, rather than just a group of people, so the kitchen and facilities were probably bigger than they needed to be.
It doesn't take Jessica very long before she walks back out with a cup, handing it to her guest carefully. "Some food will float out eventually if you're hungry as well." Not paying much attention to the other man standing at the entrance. He didn't bring attention to himself, nor was she very concerned about him. She was here to see Liara.
"To be honest, i'm slightly surprised you took me up on my offer. I'm not upset, oh no. I'm glad. I'd prefer it this way anyways, a little more.. homey. Last meeting was under a little more harsher terms. Then again, I guess that could merely be because i'm unfamiliar with the place. Who am I to judge."
Taking a seat near her, having her own drink. It looked like.. Apple juice of all things.
The next person would walk into the room rather quietly, having gotten used to how the people on this ship live and its style. One thing was new to Liara would notice off the bat, there was a huge burn scar that covered her body however regardless, she smiled and quickly moved next to her "Grey!" she said in a rather happy and cheerful voice, hugging her lightly before backing off "It's good to see you again!"
She looked over at Jess with a smile "So she was coming..I'm glad I get to see her again.." she said a bit quieter
Liara turned towards Aelita with a bright smile as soon as she heard the familiar voice, welcoming the light hug warmly, flashing a friendly smile afterwards"Well well, would you look at you! If I didn't know better I'd say Jessica was able to work some magic on your condition."
"So then, I take it you two've been getting along just great considering your high spirits ?"she inquired in a friendly manner, her gaze darting back and forth between them.
Jason, over by the entrance couldn't help but notice Aelita as soon as she dropped by. He knew the two of them never had much interaction, but assumed the worse and decided to make a move now before he'd be dragged into socialising.
The man approached the enthusiastic group ligthly, signaling his brief interruption with a slight wave of hand also ment to draw Grey's attention"If I may, ma'am, you seem to be fine here for the time being. With your permission, I'd like to go pace around over through the mess hall and eventually wait for you at the ship."
She cast a quick glance at the man as she paused"Be good Agent, and atleast try to look friendly. Will you be fine by yourself or need a guide ?"
The man shook his head slightly"No need, I believe I recall the way back to the ship."he then gazed at the other two, bowing slightly"Ladies."and walked out of the room.
Jessica smiles, letting the two have their encounter without butting in. It's been a while since they've seen each other last. Merely sitting back in the chair. Tilting her head slightly at the bodyguards request, merely nodding her head slightly. "Do whatever you want. If you want a conversation partner, go find Rachel. I'm sure she's bored. That, or she'll give you a quiz on physics to see if she likes you or not. Never can tell with her." Giving the man a slight wave, watching him leave.
Eying the two, finishing up her apple-juice. "Or perhaps Ivy.. She'll jump at the chance to meet someone new.." She mumbles out in a quieter voice. Merely sitting back for now.
She nods to Grey's answer and looks at Jess "Honestly I don't know who else would be better at watching over me, if she didn't, I'm sure I'd not be standing yet; I mean, after all Jess does like to make sure I'm okay..even if I'm just being lazy." smiling at Jessica now before looking back at Grey "So how have you been? Besides all the..Order stuff.." she tilted her head to the side asking
Liara nodded as she listened to Aelita, snickering lightly as she was done"Well, I don't know about lazy, but you sure managed to give me a few surprises while self-proclaimed lazy during mission assignments. Not all bad, mind you!"she added that last part in a jestful manner while gazing back and forth between Jessica and Aelita, trying to spark a bit of laugh.
"As for myself ? Well, I've had some time off for a few days not long ago. Took up on a long, overdue visit to see relatives, so to speak. Nothing out of the ordinary, but I really can't complain since I ended up on the Hawaii for the final two days of my shore leave."she added in a bragging manner while reaching for her cup of tea, having a few sips in enjoyment.
For a more inquisitive mind it was obvious that despite Liara's position, her finances wouldn't allow not even your top-of-the-line Order Agent spend time around such a fancy place, not without connections.
She then looked towards Jessica"I must say, this place is indeed comforting to say the least. How'd you come up with the idea for such a cozy boat ?"
The discussions dragged on. Jason on the other hand, made good use of the given distraction. He wandered down the hallways of the ship apparently aimlessly.
Light steps, caution and a look around each corner before moving on kept him hidden so far, the almost unnerving lack of surveillance aboard the vessel yet a matter of mistery for him as even the most outdated functional models of this size had atleast minimal surveillance.
In his tracks, Agent Morigan occasionally reached for a small pack upon his belt, which contained several small devices equipped with a motion sensor and broadcasting a low EM signature, calibrated to avoid direct detection, which he placed upon the surface of walls every now and then to act as a beacon. The device's sheer size made it easy to conceal within wall structures, rendering them relatively invisible unless searched for specifically.
Lycing the corridors accordingly, Jason connected the beacons on a digital map displayed upon the minipad installed in his robotic forearm in order to project a layout of the areas he passed through, having himself both a map and a motion sensor grid.
Eventually, at the end of a corridor, he'd reach what appeared to be the ship's Server Room.
Making his way inside, he carefully peered around and listened, soon realizing he was the only one there for the moment. Deciding to make the most of it, he got to work and approached the nearest terminal in the room.
Attempting to access files via key-word search, he did so cautiously so as to not prod at whatever security or firewall might be placed on said info although staying positive keeping in mind the previous lack of security measures he had just noticed.
Jessica draws her legs onto the chair she was sitting on. Not wearing any shoes, sitting comfortably cross-legged. "Hey, glad it's not all that bad. What gave the idea..?" Pausing for a moment to think about it. "I guess really the fact that we needed a place to live, and didn't desire to settle down in a static place. The fact that this thing is still mobile is something which we make use of since we get a lot of visitors. Beyond that though, it's still what I and a few others call home. Of course we're going to fix it up the best we can.
There's a few downsides, we're undermanned so a few sections in the back are powered down completely and sealed off. Guns don't work, not that we need them. A few systems are acting oddly, all of that good stuff. We make do. All in all, it's the only place I feel comfortable." Giving her a happy look. It does seem she was fond of the place.
"Hell, if you wanted to stay a day or so, we wouldn't mind. Not like we have a lack of bedrooms." Not actually insisting that she does such, merely opening it as an offer.
The server-room seemed to be rather standard. Having a normal operating system, granted there was a lot of load. It was processing something.
The idle screen was an odd symbol. The same symbol showed up in another place on the vessel on his way to the server room. Not seeming to have much significance however. The file system didn't seem to be password protected on the outside layer, letting access to some stray files. A few sections divided out for a few of the occupants of the vessel.
From there, there were three sections of the system which had a password attached to them, holding the majority of the data on the system. One for Rachel Snow, one for Jessica Snow, and the last seemed to be dedicated to remote access. The fileserver section.
The status page was accessible without any password.

A glance through the files which were open showed a few personal logs, a map of the Sirius sector, even some data on the planets. Nothing really stuck out at the time.
