Stumbled on you when freelancer called here are they ... is this so big problem?... my character still don't know where is Alcatraz and probably he will remember not go in that cloud because of big bad gunboats in it.:D
I tend not to chase people into that field and also tend not to patrol into it. Not for the sake of roleplay, but because I know how much it sucks when you undock as an unlawful and you're being stared down by a bunch of lawfuls.
Shade may not have known where alcatraz is, or he might have done. If he was responding to a call then it's a more acceptable thing, if he went there to look for the fight without getting promped as to the location, then that's not so great.
I'm sure there was no malicious intent on Sead's part, and I'll ask him to be more careful about where he flies in future.
However, if he was called there by that merc, then that's a different matter entirely.
Jon's two cents: the way I understand it, a random Freelancer approached Sead and told him (paraphrasing here) "lol theres pirat base in whitney cloud" and Sead chose to interpret this as an in-roleplay excuse to fly over there and cause some havoc, thereby annoying my fellow LR- second-in-command here.
Woah ... i planned whole this thing so i could sneakily attack Alcatraz , cause havoc and kill everything that was near it with one bomber and some fighters so i could be BEST ...
that's how its sounds ... maybe i had platforms but i really didn't watched because gunboat was shooting me and at least one of those bombers shot a bit on me ... i couldn't really see where i go from all those effects from gunboat. I cant image what would happen if i managed to kill something there.
*that how it sounds* >>> Pointed to your accusations of planing whole thing > so i guessed you think i did it like this >>> "Woah ... i planned whole this thing so i could sneakily attack Alcatraz , cause havoc and kill everything that was near it with one bomber and some fighters so i could be BEST" >>> ... Lol ... joke ... cant you get it?
Right... Sead, please don't fly to alcatraz. If you didn't know where it was, and that freelancer or merc or whatever said "Found the targets" and you flew TO THE FREELANCER'S POSITION to deal with them, then that's fine.
If you thought "Oh they'll be headed to alcatraz, lets go there" then that is bad.
Also, I'm a little peturbed by the negative assumption come to by everyone involved regarding each other's intentions. Can we just keep the blame cannons put away for now?
Just to say, there wasnt any Freelancer when we entered the Field. Not in 15K Scanner range. You're argument is kinda invalid there. I am seriously tired of this, the recent days I always had people coming to Alcatraz when I was sitting there. Seeing the [LN] was a bit disappointing.
