Miss Rise. It seems like you misunderstood me.

There's nothing arrogant or combative in things I ask. You know, I've asked, I haven't come in your space and did something without you, knowing- and I could, believe me. I think I showed some respect.

Aside my mission and task, I seek for friendship in these new groups of Maltese. As I said earlier, we fought wars together with your predecessors. We feel need to be friends again with Maltese alltrough, citizen remember, new people in new groups or clans, do not.

On the other hand miss Rise, i feel offended when you threaten to me like that with some sort of actions, about Cardamine. That's why, I said to you new people that you should do your history research. It would give you out some answers like, we were ones who kept safe Cardamine convoys, Slave convoys and such. I would also suggest you to pick words carefuly, if you wish friendship. I will not work for it, I'm not begging for it- I'm offering it. Depends on you, choice is all yours.

I would also suggest you to listen carefuly but, since I'm speaking with you first time, i can repeat it. Maltese laws are to be respected- we once enforced them, when Ghosts were around. As, someone said earlier, you should enforce your own laws, not someone's else, except they ask you for it. By that, considering who we are and what we do, we are allowed to go trough Nomad space and protect it from intruders.

As about friendship matter. We've already escorted your transport straight to Rheinland. It's sad to see your people offering us money for it. I remember that, we did that as a act of friendship, not business. I don't take that as negative matter, offering us money. We don't need it, we have our sources. Our interest is that Maltese people prosper and our help, is act of friendship, not credits.

And, as last. I agree of course that new friendships need to be worked on, that will be the case if you ask me. Again, it's up to you how you will act. As for the Crimson Cross, I think we've solved out the problems. I'm honored that you've invited me to your dinner. I'm up for it. See you in space.

Greetings,

First off, I need to clear one thing up. You have not been invited to dinner. I do not know you, nor do I care to after hearing what you've just said. You say I am mistaken in what you have said? Mr. Nomak, you are the one mistaken. You sent this transmission, wanting the rights and privileges you once had in the Nacion on the premise of past history with individuals, famiglias, and organizations that no longer exist.

You have instructed both the Blood Roses and the Crimson Cross to look into the Nacion's History Records in order to determine how you and your group are treated at current. Yes, you may have fought with the Nacion's old guard, holding a prominent place in the Nacion, yet, as I have stated in my previous transmission, that is all in the past.

You suggest that I listen to you on the subject of enforcing Maltese laws and that it has been said earlier that "you should enforce your own laws, not someone else's." While this is true, you must also remember that laws set down by others, not yourself, hold merit even if they go against your own way of thinking. This holds true on the subject of the Sinistre Cloud.

Another thing, I did not threaten you, I simply gave you a warning, that should your people get in the way of our business, which is spreading the orange dream throughout Sirius, then there will be steps taken to remedy this. The Blood Roses are a Famiglia, not a religious order, or protectors of the Nomads. We prefer to steer clear of such things as we are first and foremost, a Famiglia of businessmen and women. Cardamine IS that business.

And for future record, we pay all who escort our trade ships, be they allies, freelancers, or whoever. Refusing payment for protecting our ships, saying it's a "friendly gesture" comes off as something we would prefer to avoid. "Friendly gestures" have a way of turning into "Debts Owed" and the syndicate does not accrue debts. If you do not want payment in the future for protecting syndicate vessels, then make this known up front, not after the fact when it is too late for us to do anything about it.

As for the Syndicate vessel you escorted to Rheinland, I would like to say thank you. Doing such things in the future will earn you trust within our organization, Reading dusty old record books and trudging through old data banks for your past deeds will not. As I said before, The past is just that, the Past. Make a new future with your deeds of the present.

To sum up what I have said, Mr. Nomak, if your group wants the friendship of the Syndicate, to be considered one of our equals, then you must first earn it. If you don't step on our toes, we won't step on yours, other than that, we don't really care what you do.

Alright, seeing as this is getting a bit out of hand, let me try and clarify some things.

First of all, Miss Rise, I assume that the time is of essence to you as it is to us, so let's not waste it discussing trivial topics such as who was invited to dinner and who wasn't. If that's fine by you, of course. Now, I will get straight to the point.

Mister Nomak is currently under great pressure, so he tends to say things he otherwise wouldn't, but I'm here to fix that. I perfectly understand that what's in the past should stay in the past. When the news about Maltese Spectres reached us, we knew that we'd have to work in order to get our privileges back, and that's completely fine. As your family raised a bit after the Samarrans disappeared, instructing you to check Maltese archives was a mere courtesy of proving that we are not a bunch of deceivers, nothing more than that.

Your warning has been acknowledged, but there is no reason for the Bloodrose family to worry about us hindering its cardamine operations, as we, more often than not, export the cardamine ourselves. As for escort payments, I officially announce that the Raiders shall not receive any compensations, since the spreading of cardamine also goes in our favor. The more people have access to it, the better. I assure you that no debts will be mentioned, as they won't exist. Let the people who have access to this channel be witnesses to that.

I sincerely hope that we meet in person one day, but there is, of course, no need to rush things.
