She gives another little smile and puts a finger to her chin in thoughtYeah lots of em, I try to race around on my own for sport, outrun your local Zoner here or there. One of my actual hobbies would be music, its really one of the bigger things to me, the way its progressed even in Sirius...She smiles fondlyOther than that, eh im not interested in very much to be honest, just making my friends and living my life yknow? She sips her drink againI have to agree with you on people like the Order though, I, I really don't see our need for a huge bloody war on them, we've lost enough as is, all this for a simple terrorist group? Makes me wonder....Her smile fades and a grimace appears in its place
As he notices her expression he quickly 'tries' changing the topic Well anyway, no need to worry about a war that has been going on for long already, we just gotta hope to see each other again after one of those battles right? and here is what matters. he gulps his drink down entirily and start laughing. Ah so nice! also, keep what I told you a secret... I don't wanna be seen as a softy. Being a guildmember and all that... I have known Nodtviet for long, ever since he became guildmaster, as his knight... I don't want to be looked down at. his expression changes and he looks down while smiling without a mean, then starts to mumble to himself, it could barely be heard because of the music. or perhaps... I am just trying to forget about her... He grips his glass with a strenght.
"Ah, it's time for me to relax a bit. All this tension and fighting has gotten me totally on edge."
Cas never was one for small talk. He would be often direct. Blunt even, to the point of borderline insulting and demeaning. But when he walked into the Mad Mako, he changed. the sight of the showgirls, the relaxing ambient lighting and the surrounding nature, made him felt, like he was back in his old neighborhood.
He looked around to see if any of his old friends would pop up out of the blue, of course he knew that no one would. They were long gone. Those that didn't die in the constant fighting, went and tried their luck in the core worlds. Away from the constant fighting and living on the edge.
Why he remained, was a mystery to all, not just to himself. But one thing he did know is that he is going to get hammered so much, he is going to forget he's in the Omicrons. The cesspool of Sirius.
A slight smile etched itself on the corners of his mouth as he was walking to the bartender. He yelled at the poor fella
"one of each. And keep them coming good man!"
He looked around and saw a lot of his comrades already passed out drunk. He was already thinking to himself, that he's gotta catch up, or risk being left behind.
Her grimace fades and her expression brightens againAye, not my business to ponder an ongoing war and its legitimacy. Just glad to be flying with people I know and trust now.She takes the last sip of her drink and puts the glass downAnd uh, I promise I won't tell Nodviet about this, stays between us.She looks at Shawn and smiles again, and thinks to herself ~~Damn, whys he got me smiling so much~~She pushes her glass away as well as the thoughtBut yeah, I find you a great person to talk to already, y'know, already can't wait til I see you next time in space. She winks towards Shawn and hands the empty glass to the barmaid
Cas looks around after he had quite a few, if not one drink too many and sees Amanda and shawn still aren't passed out. He though to himself: damn I'm good! I get here last and I can still beat everybody at the drinking game. What a bunch of panzies. He then grabs a cigar and lights it up.
"Aye Amanda and shawn!"
he yells as he lights up his cigar.
They both seem rather annoyed at the fact they are getting interrupted in their conversation
"So tell me, were you guys born like you have sticks up your behinds, or does it take years of practice wahahahahahaha!?"
at that point he remembered something, an old friend used to say, whenever they'd start brightening the mood with smart comments and keeping everyone engaged. What was that saying again. Yes. "Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war"
He smiles at her conforting reply and looks directly at her. Thanks cutie... that helps *winks*, its really hard to talk to people here in the guild... they are... a strange bunch, like... you totally don't know *laughs awkwardly*. he gives a warm smile and keeps watching her directly. So it feels great having someone you can talk to and trust, I am glad I met you here... its like a fated encounter his eyes start to shine as he boast about it, and talks in a dramatical tone, if this was some kind of kusarian animation you could probably see him sparkling. Going back to seriousness But yeah... I am glad I am here with you right now, I would probably be alone at Freeport 11 again *laughs in a shy manner* so... yeah...
"Right, okay...breathe in, breathe out. It's just a place filled with colors, drunk people that may be of potential harm to me, my virginity and dignity, but you think that I should go and "have fun".
"What the hell kind of fun is this?!"
Shut up and let me explain what you're doing!
Ahem.
Finally, with enough courage (and possibly a temporary lack of intelligence), Alexandra stepped inside one of those famous space-clubs people all around Sirius seem to enjoy going to.
What an impressive waste of resources.
But hey, everyone and their dog along with their dog's dog gave Alex the advice to go and have fun.
People have no idea what fun is.
At least the colors were nice.
Now, no need to get ahead of ourselves. Walk to the gal with the drinks, get a drink, fake the fact that you're actually drinking that drink to look cool and interesting for approximately one hour fourteen minutes and thirty-four seconds, and then go home.
Sounds easy enough.
"You're mean sometimes...
"This is the stupidest thing...just look at that creepy ninja in the corner, and all those people flirting...holy banana milksha-""Can I get you anything?""Holycrapohmygod I got to the alcohol-giver-person sooner then I planned! I need to save this- look cool, look cool..."
"Yes! A glass of the sharpest knife in the Universe, thank you. I need to slice my throat."
"I hate myself."
"...Here's some water for now."
Booyah!
Good job, Alex! You're on your way to making a new friend besides me. How magnificent! I won't have to listen to you crying twenty-four seven because you have no friends!
Amanda smiles and jumps a tiny bit inside when she hears the word "cutie" and blushes deeply, but she still smilesYeah, eh same. I hear a lot about some of the strangeness of some of the people that fly in the guild, lots of stuff. She laughsBut yeah, I feel glad we met here, and yeah, would almost seem like some sort of fated thing wouldnt it?She chucklesReally hope these conversations can go the same way in space, eh tell you what, im still in this flight suit, mind if i head to my room and change out of this damn thing? She chuckles and pulls at the apparently sweaty collar of the thick flight suit
After Cas saw, that a lot of work will need to be done, to lighten up the mood and relax the folks a bit, he decided to ignore the buzz killers like they ignored him and focused his attention to Raven.
Be it, she was a ruthless killing machine, when she put her mask off, she was a stunning beauty. He shook his head a bit to regain his composure, as he straggled his way to her table.
She was staring to a distance but that didn't really matter to him. Nor did it matter to him when she gave him "the killer look". He switched the cigar from one side of the mouth to the other and uttered the catch phrase, that was generally well accepted by the ladies, but he knew, that with Raven, it might just make her annoyed as heck.
"So raven. Why's a sweet thing like you alone at the table? Company is good for yer soul girl. I should know. My mind can get lost in these empty spaces filled with war. Lost in the anger and the hatred. My desire to kill my enemy, before my enemy kills me."
After finishing her drink, seeing that people were starting to gather she knew she had to at least try and do something to talk to one of them. She got up and took her black hoodie off slowly and insecurely.
As her glass was empty she picked it up, and walked over across to the bar counter.
"A...er...refill, if possible. That tear drink...again."
The bartender refiled it with speed, without a word. She picked up the glass and slowly took a sip, looking around a bit more at the people there. Her eye caught Raven for a moment, she was a bit surprised. But she glanced only for a moment, before looking back to her glass. Again uncertain of what to do or say.
