Really?... If everytime someone insults a other person he/she would get banned... This server would be empty. Every couple days this occurs and usually (even ingame) they just get sanctioned and warned. This sounds more of a coverup than anything, even if it was a bug.
That sort of crude talk in any language is grounds for a ban its in the rules we all know this and if you don't then perhaps you should re read the rules. Honestly what would be gained if this was a conspiracy.... That's right nothing this isn't the moon landing this is a rude person blowing off steam at the wrong people in the wrong way and getting what they deserve.

He needs some space away from the game to calm down. Maybe start with an apology for his rude behavior and then maybe express his concern in a calm and clear manner.

It's amusing, you always show up to defend those who rant/insult admins for mysterious reasons.
There is no cover up, get out of your conspiracy bubble. I had a very long night outside and I won't bother with some random dude I don't know suddenly insulting me for something I have no idea about.

As much as you are completely right, a perma ban is very harsh. Imagine you are angry for something not happening the way it should. Out of anger you speak out words that go against the rules. This can happen very quickly and MOST PLAYERS DO NOT GET PERMA BANNED FOR THIS. Infact, ingame it is mostly ignored. Now... Discovery Freelancer is a small Community and has seen much better times. If you would like to chase people away like this... Fine. Make the Server Population even smaller. All these banned people usually have friends who don't really feel like playing after that. Infact, most players start to behave after a sanction... You can follow the Sanction Thread to see most cases being positiv results. But this? This is just unaccetable. (sorry for my bad grammar and typos)
