I intend that this is a serious discussion, which somewhy winded up in Flood forum.

Quote:If they were strong enough to destroy Sol with Suncrusher, why not to repeat that 30 more times?
Maybe because they have no more Suncrushers? Sol went supernova, destroying everything in the process, except Pluto. It even destroyed everything in Pluto's orbit. Thus, it's very likely that the Suncrusher itself was destroyed in the process. Even if not, it's an 800 year old "design" at least (and it didn't seem as huge as NY one, which was easy bigger that Manhattan), it could be single-shot or something like that.

But... siriusly, why they destroyed Sol, the humanity's home system, when humans were still (more or less) within their home land, where Kharas had no business or territorial claims? Why they showed such aggression, and immediately crushed the Sun, without preceding warnings/battles/etc.?
We need someone to explain why Nomads took an ultimatively hostile action against humanity with no apparent reason.

I think that they were targeting the sleeper ships so that they wouldn't invade Sirius. Ended up kind of like when you want to slap a spider, but instead demolish your house. And the spider mockingly climbs on your head when you're done. So I guess that Phantom was right, just more laconic.

Maybe beacuse the old nomies had more insticts and less mind activity? Becuase seems like the new ones looks pretty smart and kinda "evolved".
To the thread tittle - IMMO K'vosh got annoyed of these fights between humanity and dicided to make some little Big Bang.

Since we are discussing real possibilities. Perhaps Humanity discovered or did something they shouldn't. In response they were wiped out on earth before damage could be done
