Nito Kaii Ryuzoji reporting from Battleship Nagumo, and I bring forward this patrol report.
Starting the patrol sequence from Planet New Tokyo where I met with Sakamoto-Kaisho. Soon after, we regrouped with 3 agents from the newly founded Naval Intelligence Division, patrolled both the New Tokyo and Honshu star systems, both systems reported no suspicious or criminal activities apart from a few reports from a State Police officer regarding possible smugglers or Corsair transport units venturing in our space, which all appeared to be false.
Soon after, we received reports about Exile vessels lurking in the Kyushu star system not so far away from Battleship Nagumo. With the departure of the vice admiral, I was left to handle the situation alongside with 2 Naval Intelligence agents. Considering I was closer to Kyushu than the agents, I was first to respond to the scene, only to spot a couple Exile fighters that started spouting their Imperial nonsense and false accusations - like always.
Anyway, I was shortly joined by the other two agents and another Naval Forces pilot. And on the other hand, the number of Exile fighters was increased by one fighter. After a long chat of nothing but accusations and imperial crap, our forces engaged the exiles to remove them from our space. After a heavy engagement with the imperial strike wing, we were able to down one of their fighters quickly.
Leaving them greatly outnumbered against our defense wing, one of the KNI agents decided to stand-by to honor the fight. Shikashi, that was not very helpful for the Imperials as another fighter of theirs was shot down by Intelligence agent "Mizu no Seirei". With only one of their fighters left, I also chose to drop out of the engagement while the other KNI agent jumped back to avoid casualties; considering his fellow agent "Falz Angel" - who fought pretty well- ship was critically damaged. Eventually all exile ships were neutralized, with casualties limited to a critically damaged fighter on our side. Vidcom logs have been attached with this transmission.

Kon'banwa,
Today I did a morning patrol in Kyushu, not interesting was happening so I went on to do some minor assignments from the Nagumo. In the middle of my assignment a trader contacted me through a private communication channel, he said there was a pirate in the New Tokyo system near the Kyushu Jumpgate. I proceeded with haste to the location. I discovered a DSE Tanker and a Farmers Alliance Mamoru bomber, the Farmer soon shot down the trader's shields and launched an anti-matter charge onto the Tanker... Sadly I couldn't do anything to stop him, he acted too fast for me to do anything...
I engaged the Farmer and he started to flee, he jumped to Kyushu and was on his direction to Kagoshima Depot, I was delivering my blows onto him while he was running and luckily I destroyed his ship, a second late and he would've docked on the installation.
About five kilometers away there was a Golden Chrysanthemum Akegata, I pursued it and found out that it was full of Black Market Munitions. I told it to cut its engines but she refused, I fired off some warning shots towards the Akegata but she ignored and soon after started to fire on me.
We engaged in an extremely tough conflict, those Dulzians turrets sure are painful, but luckily my Raijin has the hull to endure the beating I received, can't say the same if I flew a Chimaera. Later in the battle I found myself with a range advantage, being a few hundred meters away from the Akegata's rear I could shoot my Purple Goddesses while the Dulzians couldn't reach me. I tried to give it a chance to surrender but it didn't respond, so I destroyed the Akegata. I noticed the Black Market Munitions floating in space and disposed of them.
I ended my patrol and went to the Nagumo to get off duty.
The Patrol started at approximately 1500 when I regrouped with K.D.S Hatsuyuki from the primary fleet. We started from New Tokyo and then to Shikoku where we met, not so long after, with a 'Hachiman'-class gunboat under Chrysanthemum colors, namely "\W/~Metal.Tango", the pilot of the ship was a former Outcast and a reasonable one as well. We were joined shortly by Nito Kaii Shinji Watanabe and unassigned pilot Jiro Taiyouji who joined us in a long discussion with the Chrysanthemum. Shikashi, reasonable or not, the laws had to be enforced. Hatsuyuki, and myself opened fire on the gunboat wile Watanabe and Taiyouji were called elsewhere. Sadly, the outcome was not as expected, K.D.S Hatsuyuki was neutralized, after dealing critical damage to the gunboat which was spared due to the lack of firepower. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve the commander's pod and a few other crewmen pods. Surprisingly, however, the Chrysanthemum gave me a few other State Police officer pods that were on-board of it. All the pilots were delivered to Myoko's med-bay.

On 2000, Santo Kaisa Kobayakawa, Nito Kai Watanabe and myself started another patrol through Hokkaido - Chugoku - Nagano taking a quick sweep through Planet Tomoika orbit. Afterwards, we extended our trip to the Tau systems, namely Tau-37 and Tau-23, no suspicious or criminal activities to report. We returned back to the Kyushu system where Santo Kaisa Hitoshi joined the patrol.
We spotted a couple of slaver transports at Planet Kyushu, one of them immediately went for the planet before we could act. Ground authorities have been contacted to intercept it in low orbit. As for the other transport, we managed to confiscate the cargo and transfer them back to Planet Kyushu through K.D.S Amakusa. Kobayakawa-san ordered me to escort the salver out of the Kusari space, however, the fool thought he could out-turn me on one of the trade lanes.
HA! Baka! The only thing he got was my Chimmera's Sunfrenzys projectiles piercing through his ships hull, and eventually neutralizing it.
Oh. Another transport came to his aid, he started running away once his partner's ship went 'Poof', but there is no running from the law. He faced the same fate as the previous one.
Anyway, we returned back to Tau-23 afterwards. A rather big gathering of Gallic Navy and Miners Guild ships at Java was present, one of the I.M.G pilots tried to confiscate a few slavers that were saved by Kobayakawa-san. *Coughs*was funny to watch*coughs* . Oh. Anyway, the I.M.G gifted Kobayakawa-san with a few drinks from Java for delivering the slaves to Java Station. We had a short chat with the present G.R.N forces afterwards.

Konnichiwa,
This is a report of yesterday's skirmish in the Tohoku system, Sector C5.
As indicated by the reports of our reconnaissance team we found a significant group of unknown contacts which turned out to be a collection of infected pilots in various fighter class ships. These were most probably affiliated with the same type of infected which are currently still occupying Heaven's Gate.
After we identified them I ordered the squadron to attack the small group as it was clear that we had the advantage. Unfortunately, a group of fighters consisting both of Blood Dragon and Golden Chrysanthemum elements showed up shortly afterwards. Despite our warnings they took the chance to attack us while we were engaged with the infected.
Thankfully, that group of rebels and the infected soon started shooting each other as well, resulting in a chaotic fight where it was impossible to tell which of the three sides had the advantage.
Through their discipline and valour, our squadron managed to stay together and strike as one against our enemies, slowly wearing them down and destroying one vessel after another. In the end we managed to destroy every last one of them while only suffering the loss of two ships on our side.
After clearing the sector we decided to return to the Sado at full speed to return our injured pilots to safety and repair our damaged ships. Recon Wing Kiku-Seven reported no activity in that sector in the hours afterwards. However, we are sure that our enemies will recover quickly from that defeat and it is unlikely they will give up their operations in the Tohoku system any time soon. I will keep the frequency of patrols around Heaven's Gate above normal to force the infected to react. This should allow us a more accurate estimate of their current strength.

Upon conclusion of last sortie, the Akita-Maru returned to the Battleship Myoko for rest and ressuply.

Our expeditionary survey of the Sigma systems was incomplete, but provided some initial readings regarding our closest neighbouring system, Sigma-21. Encounters with the GMG, freelancers, and a certain Auxesia Battlegroup were recorded.
However, the taskforce was targeted by an increasing force of hostile ships, many of them reportedly of Naval Forces designs. With the exception of an isolated Outcast collaborator (or maybe he's part of them), all of the enemy units were identified as part of the Aoi Iseijin mark of Nomad aligned entities.
The Kirishima, the flagship I was aboard, was intercepted several times during it's flight back to Kusari by these units. While we tried to avoid confrontation near any installations of the Gas Miners Guild along the way, the Aoi forced an engagement near Aomori, back in the Honshu system.
Severely outnumbered and with our fighter escort busy in the rearguard, the Kirishima was disabled by heavy fire of a Komainu class vessel. No accurate data could be retrieved from that section of the mission.
Commander Kunio Enomoto was gravely injured from the combat, as he did his best to ensure the safety of Aomori and the crew. Several hundred people died or were missing, including some important figures of the survey team.
Reinforcements arrived at Aomori, and warded off any remaining Aoi that were in the area. The enemy assets had mostly vanished by that time however. The Kirishima has been towed to Yukawa for repairs, which may take some time. Any data of the survey that was extracted was sent to Honshu for recovery and analysis.
This attack on the KNF forces, as well as some behaviour reported by the flight wing during the mission, indicate a special interest by the infected forces in the region. I advise consulting with the KNI for investigation of this matter, as well as contacting the GMG, Rheinland forces, and maybe Core, in warning of this threat.

Konnichiwa,
I report the downing and subsequent rescue of pilot Sanada Junko, Nito Kaisa in the system of Chugoku.
The pilot in question deviated from the set flight paths and moved towards Chugoku on her own, disregarding her orders.
We lost contact with her ship once she traversed the jumphole to the system of Chugoku which is a known stronghold of the blood dragons.
One of our reconnaissance wings equipped with light cloaking devices was dispatched soon afterwards, myself being part of it.
When we arrived in Chugoku, no contact with her ship could be established. Instead we soon picked up the distress signal from her escape pod.
Our cloaked ships barely managed to avoid a blood dragon patrol and we made haste to recover her pod before we would be discovered.
Thankfully her escape pod seemed to be undetected by enemy forces and her retrieval went without issues.
After collecting commander Sanada we immediately returned to Hokkaido, suffering slight damage from the automated dragon defenses near the jumphole and a small blood dragon patrol. They followed us into Hokkaido, but soon broke off as we got close to the lane.
Our wing docked on the Matsumoto and the pilot was taken care of in the medbay without detecting any permanent damage to her health. Afterwards the pilot has been transferred to a holding cell and formally placed under arrest.
As this is not the first time commander Sanada has proven to act on her own motives and disregarding direct orders, her rank and membership in the Naval Forces will be evaluated to decide if her continued employment and service can be justified.

yesterday i started my patrol in New Tokyo at the Narita Outpost.
My first waypoint was the system Shikogu where we had only the normal traffic so I decided to visit Kyushu were I waited quiet a long time in front of the Battleship Nagasaki. I thought there will be some 343 pilots... but nothing... looks like they lost their power to fight against us. Anyway, after Kyushu I returned to New Tokyo were I found a Blood Dragon pilot at the Shinjuku Station. After a short talk I decided to remove this Dragon... to be honest... it was kinda easy.

In the end I managed to destroy both of their ships and moved out from that sector.
