Lets make this a spiderman thread
Teshurr where the h e double hockey sticks have you been
I've been around, here and there, trying to get my life together, been a crazy few years. I'm in a good spot now, and have been for a little bit, I've just been avoiding Disco... Price talked me back into coming here again, I miss it too. I'm around on skype, and I'm lurking here as well....
Yeah, maybe 'Burg came out of the box hot - but that's Burg.
It was exactly his off-the-cuff and unfiltered manner that made him one of Disco's most loved admins some years back.
It's no good telling him to cool it, it's gonna backfire Nom.
He's not gonna respond the way you want him to.
And dammit I love him for that!
Also, if you can calm down about the manner in which he replied, you'll see that the substance is correct.
Look at the history of Disco updates - ever seen one reverted? Like, ever?
No, individual items get fixed, tweaked, nixed entirely, or otherwise handled.
Saying the update sucks, pointing out one reason out of gawd knows how many nerfs updates as bad and asking for a reversion is not realistic - nor will it be undertaken in such a manner.
So how bout this: post an item that's been screwed over (in your opinion) and offer a solution for that item.
Let the community discuss it, and let the mod/devs fix it.
Sorry Nemo my old friend, please dont think I'm taking you on personally - but Burg is right, even if his delivery is a bit twisted.
(But again anyone who knows my other friend Marburg, knows that and expects it)

Again, I am laughing that also you NOW extend your hand to help. Lol that is too funny!
Only when being critisised, I see.
Please do me a big favor and stop trying to cover up the fact that I called you out on your crappy attitude.
Just because it is flood, doesn't mean issues should not be ignored.
The first step in fixing an issue is to realize it.
Y'know what's actually funny? The fact that my original reply is no where near the level of crappy attitude you built it up to be in your head.
It was deliberately back-handed, sure, but clickbait vent threads that only pretend to have value simply deserve to be smacked down on occasion. If you don't like that, then tough.
I will admit the last line in my o.r. was a needless addition, & I don't like the fact I wrote something that a staff member had to take the time away from doing other things to come in and edit it. For that, I apologize to the staff...& before I continue, I will also apologize for calling you Nommiekins & Nommiepoo. It's technically a rule violation & I was wrong to do it.
As for the rest of what I said, I easily stand by it. Those with thin skin historically tend to not get along with me, but that's just the way it goes.
Now, since you're fond of telling me to read, I invite you to practice what you preach & go back to read what I actually wrote instead of reading what you wanted to see into what I wrote. If you did that to begin with, I believe you wouldn't have been so quick to misrepresent what was actually there & using it as an excuse to act like a drama hound about it.
Also, a refresher for ya from Flood101: When someone posts a thread of something they truly want taken seriously, they don't put it in flood. Those that do, aren't really looking to have it treated seriously at all. Simple as that.
What is funny is that you took so much attention to my post and took that seriously to reply to but you say the opposite about flood not being taken seriously. Noice contradiction. )))
