Guten abend, Heller here, back from an...eventful patrol.
I started off in Stuttgart, everything seemed clear there, apart from the, for some reason, quite heavily damaged Waldenbuch Storage Facility.
Then, back in New Berlin, I spotted a ship carrying contraband with the help of the Trade Lane And Gate monitoring system.
This Junker did not comply to my orders to stop, and subsequently docked on the Battleship Strausberg. The officers on board probably decided that taking orders from a Polizei Kadett was too insulting, so they let the ship dock.
Continuing my patrol, I checked Breuniger Station and Nassau Space Port, nothing of interest was detected on these stations.
Then I went through Frankfurt and Munich and checked the stations there. Nothing to report, sadly I did not keep any footage of that.

Now...onto more important matters. Myself, along with Marinenachrichtendienst pilot, callsign Schwungvoll, spotted Nomad activity around the trade lane from the Planet New Berlin to the Frankfurt jump gate. An AI vessel also made its appearance along the way, and helped us deal with the Nomad activity. But once it started shooting us, we had to get rid of it, despite the presence of a far greater threat, as seen on the guncam shots. The unknown Nomad vessel did not attack us though, and it seemed...pleased that we destroyed the AI vessel.
Then, some freelancers showed up, right when the Nomad vessel disappeared from our scanners. Soon after that, Order vessels showed up. They were told to leave or be destroyed. They chose to leave...but not for long.
Party's not over yet, far from it...Hessian vessels showed up on site. We dealt with them with well placed mines from Schwungvoll. After that, the Order vessels showed up again, so we were forced to destroy them.
Some time later, a...Lane Hacker Rogue Destroyer showed up. It wanted to trade, or something like that. But that is when yet another Order vessel showed up and had to be dealt with, so the Destroyer was let go.
In the end, I transferred the Nomad remains I had gotten hold of to the BDM, before landing on New Berlin.

That was all. I'm going to get some rest now.
Just as a side note, I demand more coffee and strudels if this happens more often.

Guten Tag, Sehr geehrter polizisten of Rheinland Federal Polizei. Inspekteur Clausewitz hier again, bringing gut news!

First one is that due to increased budget, oberkommando decided to allocate part of the money for hiring mercenaries in cases of emergency when reinforcements are not available or would arrive too late. From now on, all officers with rank of wachmann or higher are allowed to hire mercenary in case combat situation is imminent and he is outnumbered or does not have enough firepower at his disposal. Exact offer is to be determined by officer on the spot according to circumstances, however maximal payment is limited to 2,5 million credits for one service against hostile snubcrafts, freighters, transports or gunboats, and 5 million credits for one service against cruiser class ships or bigger. The money will be issued after the situation will be properly reported through submitted report which will include the details of the payment as well as the provided service.

Second, I´m glad I can confirm that we passed another check of our activity very well. Keep your gut work, damen and herren! Speaking of which, some of you earned awards for your activity. Dedicated Polizist Award is issued to polizeidirektorin Laura Carsten, two Untiring Polizist Awards go to wachmann Alexander Steinmeyer and kadett Damian Heller, and to make the list complete, two Active Polizist Awards are issued to polizeidirektor Daniel Artura and wachmann Gustav Nijmegen.

Congratulation to you all, your dedication will serve as example for others.

But that´s still not all! I´m glad I can announce that kadett Damian Heller proved to be valuable addition for primary department and thus is promoted to rank of wachmann due to his excellent performance during trial period. Congratulation and continue the way you started wachmann, now with permission to fly also bomber class ships.

Guten tag, Wachmann Gustav Nijmegen reporting in on the operation concluded yesterday. New Berlin was to receive the presence of a large convoy of Libertonian diplomats, and RFP was assigned to check the safety of the capital airspace before and during the event. Rheinland Military had been tasked with escorting the Liberty Navy ships from Hudson to the capital, so a large degree of interoperation was called for.

As a side note, during the initial inspections, JM|-Toothpick from the Junkers passed by Brandenburg shipping what seemed to be some suspicious commodity, APM Advanced Hardware. While I was contacting the central on whether I should stop and investigate the junker, I received interference in the form of a large radio noise from unknown source, and was unable to get the required orders before the Junker was long gone on his way to Stuttgart and beyond.

As the hour for the arrival in Hamburg approached, as notified by the RM, Direktor Daniel Artura aboard RFP|Die.Kaiserin.Leicht gathered the RFP Streife Gruppe, which included Kadett Claris Claus, and Wachmann Damian Heller. We moved to the Kiel sector in the Hamburg system, where the Liberty Navy and Rheinland Military convoy gradually arrived. Reports from the RM indicate that the voyage through the border was not entirely smooth.



Direktor Artura had the Gruppen perform forward recon and network surveillance of the course, while the LNS-Jacobi and other convoy elements followed in a strong defensive formation.

The convoy arrived at New Berlin orbit with great fanfare, and the procedure went well. There was one dissenter that tried to cause a commotion, but it was swiftly identified and neutralized once located, not causing any harm to the VIP.

Well...that's annoying. I will try to repair the video link as soon as possible. Anyway, Heller here, as you may have noticed already. Back from another patrol, much less eventful than the last one...
Nothing special happened, aside from a Zoner freighter carrying Counterfeit software and trying to teach me the rules of Rheinland. Needless to say, his cargo had a special meeting with antimatter.
After that, I moved to Frankfurt, where I ended up escorting Volksfracht vessel KaninchenExpress to Planet New Berlin.
As a token of gratitude, the captain provided a generous contribution to our funds.

Guten Tag, polizeidirektorin Carsten hier with report from patrols which I took in last two days.

On the first one, I took off from Brandenburg and apart of interesting talk with member of Hogosha Association I encountered two law violators - one artifact smuggler which claimed that he does his illegal activity because it is game for him, and one zoner which showed complete disregard towards Rheinland laws and my orders.

Lets start with the easier one - ship Fal'hun, Osprey with Freelancer papers, loaded with 247 cargo units of artifacts which flew to New Berlin from Stuttgart. He tried to escape but I caught him at the end of the lane at Stuttgart jumpgate so he gave up, jettisoned cargo and after some convincing also paid fine of 250 000 credits. Like I said, he said he consider this as a game and even congratulated me to catch him. Quite unusual moment. Anyway, evidence is hier...

Anyway, to the more trouble problematic person - captain of the ship Kopnik. I spotted it approaching from Omega-7 through Stuttgart and there was cloaking device onboard according to TLAGSNET. I went towards it and waited at Stuttgart gate in New Berlin. After the ship jumped through, it turned out it is Serenity class transport with zoner papers, loaded with gold ore. After quick check I confirmed that this ship does not have permission for use of cloak inside Rheinland. And that is when the problems started. Captain was uncooperative, first claimed his device is legal, then even tried to claim that my own cloaking device is illegal, and also claimed he is zoner in ship without guns so he can use this device. After he realized this will lead to nowhere, he violated my orders to stop, tried to slip past me and also activated his cloaking device. Then jumped back to Stuttgart and back to get time before the device will fully work. After some chasing, he ran out of batteries right near planet New Berlin so I removed his docking rights and finally was able to force him to cooperate. After some time of discussion during which he even accused me of attacking him, despite I used only cruise disruptor, and my repeated explanation what he did wrong, he finally agreed to leave Rheinland space so I escorted him out to Omega-7. I wanted to give him chance, so I didn´t issue any fine, just warned him and pointed him to properly register his device before returning to Rheinland.

But obviously it was a mistake and he should have deserved much strict treatment. Not long after that, he returned and used his device to slip past me and dock on New Berlin. I waited him out in front of the planet and after he undocked, confronted him with his law violations again. Long story short, he refused to cooperate and tried to escape, so I was forced to shoot the ship down.

After that I went back on patrol, had mentioned conversation with Hogosha member and also caught the Fal'hun. But not even two hours later, Kopnik appeared in TLAGSNET again! And he again used his cloaking device to slip past me and dock on New Berlin. I again waited it out there and after it undocked, the pilot even made some provocative remarks. At this point reinforcements arrived - wachmann Nijmegen and also kommissar Steiner aboard Die Gerechtigkeit. Zoner was again uncooperative and after I assured him he will have to pay fine, he even stated he want us to destroy his ship. And because then he tried to escape again, we were forced to open fire and take out the ship.

But that´s still not all. Yesterday just after I took off for another patrol, I caught him again! This time he was much more cooperative but that was obviously only because he had cargo hold full of gold ore. He tried to claim he does not have credits to pay the fine, so I asked trader which was passing by to sell part of his ore to cover the fine. Then I escorted him to Omega-3 again.

Can anybody be surprised it was not all? Hardly. I went to test the newly acquired asset, the Lichbringer, and he appeared again, docked on New Berlin. Some time after he undocked and obviously considered whole situation as very funny. Me and kommissar Steiner aboard Die Gerechtigkeit did not have any other choice than to shoot him down again.

Guten tag, this is Damian back from a short patrol. Today I had decided to patrol Rheinland in a Bergelmir, and it turned out to be the correct thing to do. Right when I undocked from Planet New Berlin, my ship connected to the lane and gate network, and a ship caught my attention right away during the routine checks. Ship callsign Starwazer was scanned carrying Slaves in the Hamburg system.

Upon taking notice of the fact, I moved to the Hamburg gate in New Berlin and waited for him to arrive.
A few minutes later, the ship arrived. It was a Junker Salvager Frigate, and I had visual confirmation that he was indeed carrying slaves. Sadly the captain didn't want to stop and even tried to bribe me.
Can you believe it?
Anyway, after asking him multiple times to stop, demands to which he didn't comply, I was forced to destroy his vessel to free the people from his grasp.

Right after successfully destroying his ship, I made a system wide call to any cargo ships in the area to carry the people to a station. Two Detroit Munitions ships heeded my call for assistance and arrived to the area shortly after. I told the captain to bring the people to Dortmund Station and I made my way to the planet to schedule a shuttle to carry the people planetside, where they will hopefully find a better life.

There wasn't anything noteworthy otherwise, and I landed on Battleship Karlsruhe shortly afterwards.
