Depending on the price on your station, a re-selling concept might also work. Falster Trade Center in Omega 3 buys and sells IMG-mined ore. It could act as a resource buffer in times of low filling levels on your base so you could maintain stable supply levels of ore by buying on Falster, which is sometimes also serviced by indepent ships and therefore can somehow compensate better for the problems with comet mining.
