The Textures themselves are fine and fit with the Carrier, we cannot make it match more with the snubs/gb/dessie due to the original textures being lost a long time ago and being unrecoverable. And this model is the final result of texturing and modeling. *shrug* I'm happy with it, my members are happy and several folks I talked to are happy with it as well.
And as I said, still got lots of work to do before it CAN be implemented such as Hitbox/Hardpoints + proper balancing so not to be OP and finishing it's RP Arc.
It is not likely to have battleship-weapons due to fwrd cannons (if accepted) and could be considered either a Light Battlecruiser or somewhere in between a Heavy Cruiser and Battlecruiser. *shrug* Gotta keep balanced so folks don't complain and get it nerf-hammered after implementation.
In my opinion - the model having 4 winglets instead of the original 2 kind of unbalances it. - which is sort of ironic, because having only 2 (slightly larger ones) certainly is more asymetric. - With four however - it looks to me like it has legs - which in turn reminds me on the "dog-like" repair ship with its 4 legs.
In terms of texturing - i agree with Swallow. The texture work looks a little quick and also (if the p3d view is true to the model) the texture size does not fit the skinned parts. That means that especially the liberty texture part (the brighter hull part) is way too repetitive due to being applied in such small "patches". It would be greatly beneficial to modify the texture (maybe in photoshop) to a larger size sample and apply it so you do not get the feeling of a "wallpaper pattern".
