Gentilmen, I have a unique proposal for a project that I would like to see come to life.
If you are interested and have the time to contribute significantly, please reply to confirm.
The proposal is a race track situated around Blackport 66 serving as the main control tower and center of operations. With the location being in the dark cloud there is an option of either have the checkpoints cut out of rock or simply installing regular race rings or more high-tech varieties. The track is set up to be flexible in different race arrangements and promotes racers with many spots to catch up, compared to the standard circle race track which does not do the same thing. A racer being in last place will still be able with this layout to have a possibility to catch up and/or slow down the leading racer.
It's me again, Jack Henderson from the Independent Miners Guild and this is quite a project you have in your mind there, Sir. I am not a racer, but as a born Dubliner, the track and all the madness and greatness it spawns is well-known to me.
I have a few questions: Racing in a dark matter field? I requested some data from the IMG flights to Blackport 66 and this suggests near-zero visibility, raidiation and debris. Is this really the area to race? It sounds more like a perfect way to commit suicide.
Furthermore, you seem to hope that the Guild could assist in the construction? While not being impossible, the area looks like an intensely hostile environment, and construction seems hazardous at best. What were you exactly thinking of, Mr. Sunny? Let me know, so I get a clearer picture on what is envisaged there.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Henderson

TO: JACK HENDERSON Thank you for your response, though I have to admit that I am a bit surprised with your reply. I mean the IMG has already done far more dangerous things.
The IMG, in our eyes, is an expert in mining and trading. As I recall both Tau-23 and Omega-3 mining zones are quite hazardous. In the Taus IMG mines in large asteroid boulders, breaking rocks and risking collisions and some even bring a hegemon into the mix. There is a hidden Outcast base not far away from there though you all still bravely stay to mine. In the Omegas the cobalt ore is next to a star, extreme heat and radiation cannot be avoided there.
Also the IMG special convoy missions through Corsair, Outcast, Order, and Core space are quite dangerous. I still remember the Freeport in Delta we pushed through and risked getting major damage. This route also had it's fair share of near-zero visibility and radiation as well.
I believe and have good faith in the IMG that they have the skill and ability to pull this off. And if i recall correctly the IMG always come prepared with the best armor available. I think these armors are designed to withstand dark matter radiation for large periods of time. If you are still concerned, I propose creating per-assembled pieces of the race rings in your factories and then assembling them on site quickly. As for the visibility issue special lights will do the job well on your ships as well as on the race rings.
And as much as we appreciate your health and safety concerns, the Archangels have already gotten enough experience in this field to know what we are doing. We raced around stars, skimmed planets, through hostile territory, through mine fields, etc. If others don't want to race on the track then so be it. The track is meant to be challenging and for the elite.
So I hope you will agree to help us in this amazing construction offer and hear from you soon.
I'm the last one to put into doubt your attractedness to risk, and if you are hell-bent on putting your lives at risk in races, so be it. But as you already commented, the hazards I am more concerned about are for the work crews. Your suggestion to have the parts assembled, then transported and places makes sense. It reduces cost, manpower and risk.
My Chief Engineers are interested in what racing equipment you request, and we would need the specifics, if they are not the same rings as we have in Dublin. This technology is obviously already present and the Guild would not find it hard to manufacture the parts, which would also benefit you in terms of cost.
Therefore, once you defined what you exactly need, and how much of the equipment you need, we can come up with a price tag and get this operation going.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Henderson

"Good day Mister Henderson,
my apologies for the late answer but our President, Sunny, went on a vacation and wont be back until next week.
So I would be really thankful if we could wait with this until he is back.
With regards, Vice President Torrio"
You will be happy to know that we have finished making plans in order to conclude what we actually need. We have also made blueprints for setting up the race rings into the field with relation to the base (grey circle with yellow dot on the screen). The following are what we need:
1 Special Cross Ring
100 Race Rings (75 to install and 25 for storage on the base)
7 Nav Buoys
1 Racing Buoys
Supplies can be brought to Blackhack Station where it can be stored and later dispatched into the field.
Please let us know what you will be bringing for assembly, their amounts, as well as the cost for all this project.
