Name: Carl Harrisford Date of birth: January 3rd, 804 (19 years old as of 823 A.S.) Height: 178 centimeters (5'10") Weight: 70 kilograms (154 lbs) Immediate family: Travis Harrisford (Father, 37) & Louise Simmons (Mother, 37) Origin: Planet Erie, Pennsylvania System, Republic of Liberty Brief Biography: Carl was the odd Navy candidate who has nowhere else to turn due to not being able to pursue superior education and not being interested in slaving away at a dangerous trading/mining job from shady corporations, which could backfire if things went south. Born to a lower-class family at Planet Erie, he went through life with very little and achieving not so much, either.
With a quick wit and guts to spare, Carl joined the Liberty Navy and was appointed to the Secondary Fleets as a reserve Bomber pilot. After proving his worth, he made steps to join the 5th Fleet and was successful in doing so.
"Yep, everything seems to be up to date! I should keep an eye on this. "
"A lot of things aren't mentioned... I guess they're not important for High Command. I should open a personal log for cases like those..."
"Alright! So, for my first log, never hit computers, ever. It worked this time, but I'm sure it's the last time it will... That is all I wanted to say. Ending log."
"I've found this picture somewhere along my guncam files. It dates 00:06 August 20th, 823, but it feels like it was forever ago. It's so strange how, in the same day, I fought the Separatist LSF and then the Royal Navy."
"I just... find it insane how I could go from fighting 'filthy traitors who happen to be Libertonians who now don't trust us for some reason' to 'our most dangerous, irredeemable (human) enemy' just like that, in the space of a night and a few hours. Maybe I'm just getting insensitive, or something... it just doesn't feel right. In fact, it ISN'T right."
"We, in group, are at war with Nomads and Gallia's Crown. So, why the hell are we wasting time, ammo, morale and ships? Could the LSF be infested? I mean, the whole thing with Division 9 is -at least- a bit odd... Could they be secretly working with Gallia? Nah... No, not at all. It would've been quite obvious from the start. The conflict allegedly started over the LNS Harmony. I doubt it'll escalate to that point."
"I don't know what I expected when I joined the Liberty Navy, despite having an okay idea of taking the Royal Navy off the map. I really didn't realize I'd need to start shooting at LSF, too. Ending log."
"Oh, I almost forgot, I received quite a few awards earlier today. I'm very grateful, and my family is quite proud. Although, deep inside, I hope the Admiralty doesn't come up with a Separatist Service Medal."
The Amenhotep, the Maltese, the Nomads, Auxesia, all of em falling as very familiar pieces in this giant puzzle that we call life. oh lol now I'm a poet. I can't really help myself... with all these things hitting me at once, it's a little hard for my philosophy to NOT change completely; I end up saying the weirdest crap.
Anyways that's not the point I want to make, I shouldn't get this sidetracked... now I've forgot. I had something about Gallia being really quiet recently, the Separatists too. I don't even know why I keep typing nonsense, I can't sleep... I'm not even that much of a writer! Or a reader, for that matter.
Because of this whole tension from the National Council's incursions, we've been in constant alert and I haven't seen my family or friends for weeks. Then Auxesia decides to come play. Then Hellfire. Then Nomads. What in god's name is going on? I know that Liberty doesn't stop to rest but come onnnnnnnnnnnnnn. Eh, but even then, instead of being an idiot I could be using my sleepless time in writing the darned report of us shooting the crap out of those Nomads 2 days ago. That was fun but really dangerous, we were seriously super lucky no one got hurt. I'm pretty sure my Upholder's hull was almost torn in half from those Cruisers, the top wing got bent really weird. And some other things.
