Exactly that.
Due to the recent reviews and client feedback, STEAM users can refund their purchase of No Man's Sky regardless of the time they have played the game for. That is all.

I was enjoying the game, but I've slowly stopped playing it in favour of Disco again.

The refund is really tempting for the cash back, but I feel immoral asking for my money back on something I've thoroughly enjoyed... god damn you conscience.

Developers/Publishers should not rely on sold copies to keep development up and later update the game to a state where it's actually playable in end-game, or has any content there at all. This selling of unfinished products has gone on long enough, but people still fall for this type of merchandising.

I'm happy to see this. I stayed away from NMS because I felt like it was going to be a full belly flop on concrete. I was right. Now, I thought Star Citizen was going to flop too, but with the recent press release, it seems they are near release and it will be awesome. I will still not buy early access though.
