I like Piombo's idea, but I think it should be used for a later design. The carrier might be refitted to a dreadnought with a FG instead of the bays when Bretonia starts pushing Gallia back. This version leaves the bays exposed, which is bad if they really are bays, but good if it's actually a FG casing, and you don't want to hit your own bridge every time you fire.
About the current and latest version, I am looking forward to flying it.

I know it. As told before, the below part will be to re-edit.
Soul's proposed remodel was 11-18-2015, 10:41 AM
the BAF remodel request was 06-14-2016, 01:24 PM
It is now 24/3/20183 years after the first proposed remodels of this incomplete mess we call the invincable bretonian carrier.
challenger is also a flawed model, as i've said before, still in half and is a terrible shape.
BUMP
i just want new players to see the incompetence of the developers as they leave unfinished content in game regardless, and why would it matter if i am a bretonian dog.
there are more unfinnished models ingame and ships with textures far below what is standard for freelancer whilst some ships actually had and or still have textures above the freelancer standard but i don't care for those as much as they're functional.

That's very motivational, helps us a lot to keep doing work for free. I love the red color on that giant BUMP. I don't really know if you are aware of this, but in case not - let me explain how devving works:
1.) It comes AFTER real life work, real life recreation and everything else that is more important;
2.) It is done for free, provided as-is, take it or leave it, at our discretion;
3.) There is nothing barring you from becoming a dev yourself and getting some work done (as I have done);
4.) For the last time, if you have no clue about how modelling in particular works, plus the problems certain models submitted by the community have, do not make posts like this - demands tend to have the opposite result on us.
Now, if you are passionate about something - learn how to do it yourself and you will find a new appreciation for the work that's being put forth by all of us in the dev team. Because this is what I have done, Ive had to learn from scratch everything that I know currently. I've fixed a fair share of things myself, even stuff not related to my department.
Last but not least, me and a whole bunch of other devs have uni finals, work and other stuff to do in spring, so don't be surprised if your demands get ignored further. RL > dev work.

Hubjump's attitude is fitting for his age( ), yes, but among all that emotion there is some point. The model was finishedtwo years ago. By this, I want to say that it was shaped, textured, hitboxed, hardpointed and so on, and ready to be imported into the game. I flew it in singleplayer 9 months ago, having received the finished model from @Titan* . I admit there were a couple of things wrong with it: the lights were off, its position in first person view was a bit less than ideal, since it was somewhat blocking the view, much like the Liberty Dreadnought does, and some of its secondary guns were too far from the centre to be accurate enough. Titan was ready to fix all of this (except the secondary hardpoints, which he said worked as intended), but something something and I don't know if it is fixed yet or what happened. Are these the only problems that the model has, or there is more? And is there an ETA for it?
