the octupus / salvage ship is still up there. i sent it to Doom for converting, hardpointing - but i figure this one must be a pain to do. - ships that are currently submitted are all in the pinned submission thread.
These are just suggestions on possible stats and descriptions for the vessel, i'll let jinx approve or discount them =)

Named the "'Reaver' Junker Dark-matter Cannon" - this weapon comes pre-installed on the reaver bomber, and is not purchase-able from any bases in sirius.
Description: The reaver cannon was developed by junkers on beamont base. It fires a bolt of dark-matter carried to the target in a containment field. The reaver cannon is primarily used to blast apart derelict ships and large peices of scrap so that they may be hauled back to junker bases, but also acts as a particularly effective anti-capship weapon. This weapon can only be fired by the Reaver-class junker bomber.
Reaver-Canon Stats

Shield Damage: 60,000
Range: 2500m
Projectile Speed: 300m/s
Refire Rate: 1.00
Energy Usage: 20,000
The Reaver-class bomber was developed by junkers primarily as a salvage vessel dedicated to larger shipwrecks and scrap fields. It's main cannon can blast apart larger peices of scrap so that the reaver may haul them back to nearby junker bases. Despite it's primary role as a salvage craft, like all junker vessels the reaver is a tough opponent in combat, and it's main cannon is quite effective at tearing apart enemy capital-class ships.
Other notes:
The main cannon wont be capable of 'turning' on it's hardpoint like some torpedoes and most guns do. It's stationary, held within the railings underneath the bomber's cockpit.
The Reaver would have manuverability similar to that of the collector VHF. It has less armor than all other bombers, and less firepower, so the agility will help it survive against enemy capships and fighters, while also making it a semi-effective anti-fighter craft.
The other option is to reduce manuverability to slightly lower than most bombers, but give it the ability to equip a class 7 transport shield - giving it more shielding than any other bomber, but less firepower and manuverability. I would much prefer that, honestly.
Power supply and regeneration rate should be sufficient to allow the reaver to fire it's two class 10 guns, in addition to it's primary cannon, for 5-6 cannon shots before running out of energy. I'm not an expert on regen and energy, but I would assume that at 'empty' energy it should have enough regen to fire the primary cannon at a .5 refire rate (half of normal) constantly.
since you asked if the project was given up. its not, but has been on hold. - here is how the model looks like - untextured and closer to the original CSV.
I love this idea. It's just the sort of thing the Junkers would cobble together. Keep the shields at level 10 fighter, with good manouverability and low hull strength. Keeping the gun hardpoint stationary is an interesting idea. Would make it very hard to target anything below a gunboat, unless they're jousting.
But can we get a "real" cockpit on it this time? The collector's cockpit is horrible, and the CSV is even worse... cant even see your pilot in that one.
I think it would look nicer with its fuselage tilted forward a bit (like the illusion created by the top right isometric). The engines, giant weapon, and perhaps cocpit could be tilted to compensate, and I doubt it'd lose much of the oh-so-helicopterish CSV feel.
