So I started a new character last night, goes by the name, Conan. He's basically a brute and doesn't communicate well (he refers to himself in the third person) but he is smarter than he sounds. I haven't fleshed out his complete backstory yet so that's about as far as I've gotten.
My question is this. What is a corsairs zoi? How far into the core would he go RP wise?
Um, I think they can get into rheinland and bretonian systems to some degree, as you see corsair npc's out in those areas. Mostly they stick to the tau and omega systems.
Corsairs operate in parts of Bretonia, the Omegas, Sigma-13, Omicron Gamma (obviously), select parts of Honshu, all systems bordering Gamma, Delta, Eta, and they can go into Rheinland occasionally.
This is what I have from my faction guide, part of my upcoming project...
Corsairs
Allowed: Omicron Gamma, Theta, 91, 94, (the little highway around gamma), Delta, Kappa
Sigma 13, 19, 17
All Bretonnian systems
Reasonable:Omicron Minor
Honshu
Rheinland
Restricted: Omicron 100,
Liberty Systems
Kusari systems (except Honshu and when meeting FA/Hogosha)
Tau systems (except Hogosha and FA guard systems)
That's what I got from off the top of my head. Good luck, Miguel Velez can help you out if needed.

Question - what business does a Corsair have in Liberty? And how would they get there anyways, assuming they didn't take the Alaska route? o.O
The Corsairs come to Liberty to smuggle artifacts and can get there in any route except Alaska.
Carlos Rivera: Corsair Brotherhood Pirate - Retired, shifted to Tripoli Shipyard's Research and Development engineering teams Anthony Cameron: Guild Core Bounty Hunter - Killed in Action, committed suicide after being trapped in Omicron Minor following its destruction Juan Ruiz: Outcast Ghost of Razgriz Pirate - Killed in Action, killed by the Sirius Coalition Revolutionary Army during Bretonian piracy raid Michael Winchester: Liberty Security Force Agent - Missing in Action, likely killed during Rheinland espionage mission or trapped in Rheinland Space Eric McCormick: Order Pilot - Retired, shifted to planetside training of new recruits
Well, I dunno, I find it exceedingly difficult to cross an entire house without any lawfuls (NPCs incuded) seeing you. Not to mention that all the unlawfuls hate them too (exception of the Gaians). Realistically, you'd avoid all lanes, which would take an extremely long amount of time.. which would mean that the corsair's reason for entering Liberty must be pretty darned important.
Artifacts typically come in from Kusari via the Hogosha and Bretonnia, from corsair smugglers. However, that was in the original freelancer, with Liberty Rogues and Lane Hackers smuggling artifacts.
I don't like the idea of Corsairs being allowed in Liberty, as every criminal group would throw them out, the authorities would attack them.
Plus, you'd get the lunchbox spam above Manhattan instead of Crete.
You know what? Ignore me. Lack of sleep.. gah. I missed the bolded word:

So I thought those were all systems which you thought were Corsair-appropriate. Whoops. >_>
