About today's events in Alaska

Well for me this started when a fellow Bs| member allerted me over xfire that we were going to counter-atack. Counter attack? I logged onto my bomber (Bs|Sasha.Vorile) and joined other Order, Corsair, and Zoner pilots in space.
I headed with the force to the Alaska JH from Minor and right after the jump engaged the enemy.
They were defeated and we moved to the NY jumpgate. Then Gafwmn returned and we started a fairly interesting conversation. (by the way, it's great that you're actually guarding that gate, no one else does that, Kudos to you sir')
Apparently the Zoners declared war with Liberty and that caused Liberty to attack Minor?

Well anyways, then there was some talk about the oorp-ness of all of us being there.
Now, I don't get some things.

1_Of course the Order knows about Alaska and Z21, I mean, play the sp, it's completely in RP for us to be there.
2_Corsairs? Well apparently they were there because some Order pilots called for aid for the attack
3_Zoners? I don't know, I still want to know what happened to have them be at war with Liberty.

So instead of yelling over system chat in-game, let's have a good MATURE discussion here about things, ok? So can someone answer my questions there and WHAT HAPPENED with the Zoners and Liberty? I mean, war?

It seems zoner expeditionaries declared war because I banned them from Liberty, can't say I particularly care although I'm amazed zoners can actually declare war without permission from the council, also, if Liberty indeed attacked Minor because of that it is totally ooRP, and I will have a word with those involved. I hope this doesn't happen again, especially without a good RP reason.

Ok, I wasnt there so i dont know much about the alaska incident, but i'll fill you in on prior events...

Sometime yesterday, three zoner expeditionary ships - one in a battlestar and the other two in battlestar advanced class ships - started camping planet manhattan. There was only one or two SA/LSF members on at the time... in fighters... so they couldnt possibly take out three battleships that obviously had hostile intentions.

The liberty factions warned the zoners that foreign battleships were banned from liberty (because they're paranoid and such) and several times ordered them out of liberty space, they did not comply for an hour or so, and finally left.

All three of them were sanctioned for the act, but it apparently gave them a grudge against liberty. I suppose they're the ones who started this war, using the reprimand against their bad form as the catalyst. I dont think many zoner players are involved, likely just them and a few of their other friends who were like minded or... hell.. just wanted something to do for a change rather than camp nomads all day long.

So what it looks like is that they declared war on liberty, and hoaxed the order and corsairs into assisting them with an attack. You guys appear to have been conned by allies... not very ally-ish of them.

Anyone who was there can you post a full story about what exactly happened? And I want both sides, since people do tend to make upe a lot. So I want both the zoner/unlawful and the lawful side of the story. If some could post it I'd appreciate it.

And it won't. Fights broke out, alliances were severed, things went bad. We aren't going to fight liberty par-say, but, like order, we do not like liberty. Order is more hostile to liberty than we are, and i want to suppress all rumors of "War,"

What we did we believe is justified, and we are not affiliating with liberty any more, and we will ask them to leave liberty if found in minor.

Here's what i have out of it (my brother was piloting the other ship, so i saw what happened, he was in the other room)

Liberty forces were in minor, as was my brother. An order was attacked obviously by liberty. My brother asked if he needed help, but the only reply was "im done" and he died. My brother headed out to Isis where the order claimed to be. When he got there, the Liberty forces took that motion as an act of hostility towards them and attacked first. My brother attempted to fight but failed. The Liberty forces claimed they did not fire first, which is false. At this point we announced our de-neutrality (fake word) towards liberty. Beyond that a fight broke out, as OPG soon showed up along side Order pilots. A second fight broke out in alaska where I was involved.

Liberty was killed from alaska, And I, some OPG, and Gafwymn proceeded to discuss what is going to happen in the future.

That is the Zoner's side. see it. Believe it. That is as close a reenactment as I can get.


**This all happened after we announced that our battleships and capwhoredness will end, and the ships were leaving liberty, and was not related to each other in any way.**
