I am Lord Shigeo Kitamura, black ocean dragon lord of the Guardian "Black Hole Sun" clan.
I and my clan siblings grew up in Fujimorita--a poor prefect on planet Kyushu in the Kyushu system. We always looked up to the Hogosha -- who brought us food and clothing when times were hard and who kept corrupt officials from controlling our family's lives. Often they arranged for us young men to have work unloading Samura ships and they always allowed a little of the food to "fall off" for us and our families.
I remember the Hogosha "angels" passing out candy to us as children and stopping criminals and brigands in our village -- forcing them to return stolen property and to show respect when they had harmed someone in the community.
Always, I and my friends wished to be part of the Hogosha as we were growing. In time, we were able to run small errands for them -- taking messages to neighbors and neighboring villages. Later, loading cargo to and from Hogosha ships. Ever present was a Hogosha asking us why we wished to help and asking if we understood the precepts of duty and loyalty.
When we were of age, we announced to our village that we wished to become Hogosha protectors. The villagers raised money to give towards our pledge offering and it was received by the Hogosha.
We began to travel with them on short trade trips, to learn the routes and faces and secret places we would need to know. Finally, we interned on Kabukicho Depot and learned the art of messaging and intelligence gathering.
Now our pledges have been applied to our first vessels and part of all we earn will be returned to our village. We have been accepted as the "Kuro Ana Taiyou Zaibatsu" -- the Black Hole Sun Conglomerate -- and great things are believed for us. We show much promise.
We will maintain the balance in Kusari --preventing both impure foreigners or greedy politicians from subverting the people's rights and safety -- insuring they always have their share and may live in peace.
We will dethrone the Junkers and their gaijin taint over all of Sirius and oppose the corrupt corporations such as the GMG.
Drug using foreigner lovers and enemies of our esteemed leaders and tranquil stability -- the Blood Dragons and Golden Chrysanthemums -- will feel our might and tremble in our presence.
Kusari and its shogunate will remain the great empire -- and we its loyal guardians and protectors.
To those who encounter us: Render honor where it is due. Pay what is required. Do not impede us.
Those who fail in these things will face the wrath of the Gen'yosha Rinjin -- the Black Ocean Dragon Lord.

Today I was waved by a Kusari police officer. For one of his low station, he was quite enlightened. We spoke of politics and the rebellions of our criminals as well as history and the future. He of course was eager to let me know that he must do his duties but was a friend of the Hogosha. We spoke and departed amicably--each giving the other the respect due.
It is good to know their are Kusari who still value the old ways. Long live the Shogunate!
In the afternoon I was engaged by the CEO (apparently) of the GMG. He flew a Taidan bomber and was escorting one of his fleet's freighters. He was somewhat accurate with his supernova cannon and I had to exercise care to avoid it. I destroyed several pieces of his ship's equipment and later heard reports that he was seen jettisoning from the vessel as it crashed near a friendly base. At least his insurance costs will rise. I was unable to finish his nimble craft and he withdrew once his mines and 'bots were depleted. I left the area as well since local authorities there were in confusion and hastily fired on me along with several GMG fighters. I had no desire to hurt my own countrymen.

This morning, I completed my rigorous exam for admission to the Hogosha Guards and was able to take credits saved trading to my home village in Kyushu and then a remainder for the purchase of our fledging clan's first gunboat, the Gen'yosha Rinjin. This adds to the ships Mercenary Consort and Unbreakable Mercenary that our clan began with. I removed the aft gun as it is underpowered and near useless and replaced it with a missile mount--at least now it has a little sting for those who move behind me.
The forward gun is challenging to direct yet quite useful in the right circumstances. I was able to destroy an advanced train piloted by a gaijin that refused to stop and fired on me near Kyushu. The forward gun hastened his end significantly and his cargo was quickly taken to remedy his disrespect.
I then was messaged by a Golden Chrysanthenum who wished to lecture me about "women's rights". I told her she had the right to obey men and she huffed about going to get high on cardamine. Poor woman taking that gaijin drug--no wonder she prattles on such nonsense. In time, when we have cleaned their dens and rat's nests, we may be able to save some of these poor addled females.
I then had to travel to the Gaian station, Islay to meet our allies. They were quite pleasant but I had to repeatedly turn down missions offered by them to convince them my loyalties were still wholly Hogosha. Perhaps it was the abundance of saki that caused me to praise them to highly.
Returning, I saw my first Corsairs though I had no interaction with them. They were Legionnaires in Edinburgh system. Additionally, I was engaged by Outcasts and Bretonians in Tau-23 though I was able to defeat and elude them handily with help of local KNF forces.
Long live the Shogunate!
As a final note, earlier an outcast affiliated with a group called the BLS was most disrespectful to me personally and then ran in fear from me--all to save his money. Later I will provide a more complete account of this incident so other Hogosha may be alert for him.
As it stands, I must attend to my standing with the Kusari Navy and Corsairs now--both believe I may join their causes due to the Bretonian warships and Outcasts I destroyed.
Truly, I hate politics--though politics are why saki was invented. If that is so I guess we can call it a win then.

A nearly unfortunate mishap worked out quite well...
Above Kyushu,a gaijin train refused to deliver a portion of cargo as a gift. In warning it--it was accidentally destroyed. Right as it exploded, a KP ship broke atmo above Kyushu saying, "What the..."
I quickly "explained" that the trader was a gaijin and had opened fire on me--forcing me to destroy him. My reputation was so good with the police that he mistook me for a police officer and said, "Very well" and then sailed away.
A close call but my reputation remains intact--as did the gate lane parts I was able to pilfer.
A bit later, another gaijin donated gate lane parts as well--too bad he also had to explode first.
It was a good day overall. Perhaps tomorrow I will find some Golden Chrysanthemums and make them my consorts. Bwahahaah!

I have not yet spoken here--I am Benjo Dokosai though I was once known outside of Kusari as "Benjo--the Flush--Doko"--much to my disgrace.
As a young man, I left Kyushu and unlike the others followed a woman who led me to consort with the Golden Chrysanthemums--curse that Lady Kishiro!
Though I did not join their movement, I fraternized with the women there and was wooed eventually by the Blood Dragons to join their ranks. As a headstrong young man, I did not follow orders well and left the Dragons and in that process lost my relationships with the Chrysanthemum women as well.
Seeking to strike out in my selfish weakness--rejected and alone, I left Kusari space and went to Liberty as a mercenary-for-hire. Once there I was recruited by the Junkers...great is my shame. The Junkers asked me to offer my services to the Xenos in order to discover what plans the Xeno sorceress "Jeanne" had planned.
To gain their favor, I had to return to Kusari in order to amend my reputation with factions there. Strangely, I was approached by a criminal group--an enemy of the Junkers--that gave me one-hundred and twenty million credits to purchase a train and to trade for them, and they, total strangers!!
I had never held such great wealth and though I purchased the train--the temptation was to great. I left service with the Junkers and went into hiding. In time, the criminal group that hunted me was itself destroyed. All of its members were killed by a rival group. The Junkers thought me dead and cared nothing.
At this point my shame returned full force and I desired to make amends. I offered the train and my services as its pilot to our leader and friend Shigeo and the Guardian Black Hole Sun Conglomerate and christened it, the Mercenary Consort. No longer would I consort with weak women but with men of strength and character as a samurai and warrior--a Hogosha.
Now I devote myself to providing for my family that I left and who accepted me back--even after serving the worst of our enemies.
I am forever grateful and eternally in their debt.

Ah yes! I returned from a special mission to Liberty today via Rheinland space and encountered a lone Junker in a whale. There were no authorities about and I ordered him to drop his cargo. He argued and refused so I destroyed him with my train's turrets and took his cargo. I jettisoned my own cargo, retrieved and sold his, then recovered my own--it was even more profitable--and it deprived the accursed Junkers of some of their income. We have already begun planning along these lines. The Junker was indignant and complained greatly but even though he did not deserve it, I let him live in his escape pod. I was able to destroy several other smaller Junker vessel's later at my final destination with my cargo. A great day! We have lost no pilots in any of our actions to date!

I am Ito Izuki, pilot of the Unbreakable Mercenary--a special ultra heavy fighter experiment by my clan. It is equipped with "code" weapons taken from a destroyed Junker merchant ship and mounted in combination with advanced turrets purchased from the Corsairs. In addition it has Order provided Nomad propulsion technology and enhanced armor! Always I dreamed of flying and fighting and now it is so! The ship has yet to be driven from battle due to damage and has downed several enemy ships already!
Though I am also able to trade small cargos, I spend my time primarily spying and observing and defending Kusari against foreign invaders such as the Outcasts or their lackeys the Dragons and Chrysanthemums.
Today, I took my ship into Hokkaido in pursuit of a ranting Chrysanthemum witch. She fled into Ainu in her drug addled fear and as I studied the system, I discovered an uncharted jump hole.
I had been told by Kusari navy captains that the Dragons were fierce fighters but the Chrysanthemums were headstrong and weak. Upon entering this new system, I was set upon by determined Chrysanthemums piloting eagles with powerful weapons! Though greatly outnumbered and near an enemy station, I was able to destroy one of the eagles and tractor in its pilot's escape pod. She is in interrogation now and by tomorrow we should no what she has to do with the Chrysanthemums. I unfortunately was not able to recover any advanced weapons from the wreckage of her craft.
T o make the tale even more fantastic--as I evaded the remaining eagles I entered another uncharted jump hole and exited in a system filled with Chimera flying Blood Dragons! While there I was able to down one and also tractor in its pilot and escaped with my shield batteries fully drained.
Upon returning through the Chrysanthemum system again, I was attacked by eight eagles. Bakas! I destroyed equipment on two and blew the wing off another then jumped to Hokkaido.
I look forward to the interrogation results in the morning--what is it these evil doers are up to!?
Oh..and one last note...I am thrilled to hear that we have an "intelligence operative" active in Liberty. As of late we have begun operations there but I am not allowed to speak regarding them.
Sayonara!

After his youthful boasting, Benjo Dokasai's train, the Mercenary Consort, was crippled and nearly completely destroyed in a cowardly raid by two Mandalorian mercenaries--whose authority we will not recognize.
Dokosai was only slightly injured as the blast threw his escape pod right through the Tau-23 jump gate--he was able to lock onto a freighter just as it entered.
The criminal Mandalorians then stripped and looted the wreck taking the clan gifts we had stored on board for the AFA, NLH and BD clans.
Benjo's ship was towed to Falkland base where he and it were retrieved by his fellow Hogosha. It will be another day before the vessel can be returned to service.
He has been a faithful servant to us and will be avenged. The Junker trader Kenshin financed the honorless assassination attempt and we invite all Hogosha, Gaians, Farmers, Samura, Kishiro and other faithful Kusarians to avenge him.
The Guardian Black hole Sun Conglomerate will be indebted to those who strike him. The Junkers will now begin to feel Hogosha wrath on a regular basis--thank your "Kenshin" for this.

Well Benjo Dokosai is returned to health and his ship is serviceable again. In fact, I pursued the cowardly Junker who tried to have him assassinated and he fled--screaming like a Chrysanthemum woman all the way.
The Junker is not to bright and seems emotionally fragile--it shall be great sport pursuing him for all of us in the future.
I also interrogated our Dragon and Chrysanthemum prisoners and have discovered the two new systems are Tau-63 and Tau-65--home to each factions "Guard" units. It seems our "social protest" by the Chrysanthemums is backed by a militarization behind the scenes. The KNF has been notified of both groups clandestine bases.
I will report more here when the Junker Kenshin is terminated.

A youngling stumbled into New Tokyo space piloting a Liberty gunboat that he apparently acquired illegally with forged papers--he had no identification--and proceeded to open fire on merchant shipping!
He was almost immediately crippled and the KNF asked if I would escort him to "somewhere else". The foolish pilot repaired his vessel and I escorted him to Chugoku and dropped him on the Dragon's doorstep. Haha--now they will have a fun project to eat up their time and his behavior can reflect on their reputation. I do not envy them.
Enroute, we were attacked by another of the foolish Golden Chrysanthemums--this one in a Dragon bomber. I instructed my charge to stay out of the combat and destroyed the witches ship. I believe the killing blow was hitting a nova torpedo or nuclear mine just as it exited her launcher.
Her only comment as after she ejected was, "Whaaaa!? That is not possible!!"
Bwahahaha--the Golden Chrysanthemum are always good for a laugh!
I was also able to deliver our clan gift weapons--two golden blades--to the Artisan Farmer's Alliance. We had already gifted other "code names" to the Black Dragon and Nature's Last Hope clans. They are honorable allies and worthy of respect.
Long live the Shogunate and the Black Hole Suns!
