Of course I'm always polite. Here's what happened. Conan found shinys (diamonds) on an adv train and demanded a small portion of his hold. The trader did not take the demand seriously and took off. Conan only had a cruise disruptor and not a train disruptor like he should have. Could have conan hit cruise and pursued till he stopped to enter a trade lane or jg? Or is that not allowed? Of course its hypothetical now since conan now has a TD.
PVP rules do not apply to the trader - pirate situation, so yes, you can cruise to get him.
Seriously traders, what part of zero speed don't you understand. When you're caught, you're caught.
The situation mentioned above is totally exceptional, pirate without a train dist? Ha.
Either way, my favorite ones are those that "stop" but continue to head towards the gate/lane or whatever.
After first "zero speed trader means kill your engines" I usually go "2mil!" because of the server rules that say I cannot destroy him unless I ask for the correct amount.
So it kinda craps my roleplay.
There's only one thing that bothers me in this whole Corsairs-use-Alaska-because-the-Order-gave-them-the-JG-codes thing. Ain't Artifacts supposed to be dangerous (as in properties unknown) materials, perhaps even linked to the Nomads? This bothers me because if that's the case, this would be like shooting their own foot for the Order.

they are artifacts, not living organism, and on the other side, are not artifacts very requested by liberty high society? (their infocard say that) so in my opinion you are sure that general, or someone who is really high in rank will not give order to liberty patrols to move to scetor xxx, to make clear way for smuggler full of artifacts ?,
and Jg code, all bounty hutner capship captain, who is caught in gamma and tortured, say everything. codes, positions of patrols, everything....

Hey, don't get me wrong here. I agree that there's a number of ways through which the Corsairs could obtain those codes, including from Navy officers. Also, I wasn't even touching the issue, "Should Corsairs use the Alaska JG?" I was merely skeptical about the Order handing them out the codes to the gate so they can transport probably Nomad related material to Liberty.
In the end, I think the strangest thing is that the Order still holds "the code". I mean, how difficult can it be for the Navy to change "the code". I'm much more inclined to believe they (Order/Corsair or both) have inside sources.
yes, exactly. corsairs and artifacts smugglers have people inside, people who request the artifacts:)and order and artifacts, i think that order wish to be ally with corsairs, corsairs wish to be ally with order, so when order try to spot artifacts, that make corsairs angry and alliance is broken, and then has order troubles from one side from liberty, and from other side from corsairs, the same for corsairs because order always try to stop bh and other enemy ships flying from that side to gamma. so in the end, both sides secure one side of territory of their friends.
