So, right. This report is for the eyes of top command only, and if somehow someone else has access to this, you best not. Yesterday, as a part of getting acquainted with my new rank, I was touring the Undaunted and familiarizing myself with what it would take to effectively command her. I took her out on a patrol to New York, and with good timing; as we were about to jump into the system, the trade lane network spewed out a warning about a high-energy jump into New York.
Along the lane between West Point and Norfolk, we found out what had jumped in; an enigmatic vessel bearing the strange IFF designator of "Cultist" uncloaked, accosted us, and sent out a small burst of data, which we elected to download. We were instructed to bring the message to "our friend", and preemptively warned that the Cultist was "not an errand boy". Promptly, the ship recloaked. All visual logs of the incident are irrecoverable, however an audio log was preserved and will be attached to this report.

[09.11.2016 19:42:42] Angelo.Sancto: I am not an errand boy.
[09.11.2016 19:42:55] Angelo.Sancto: Give this to your friend.

[09.11.2016 19:43:08] [HF]-HFGBx-Undaunted: You got it, bud.
[09.11.2016 19:43:13] [HF]-HFGBx-Undaunted: You sure seem like an errand boy to me, though.
So as to shake off any potential pursuers, we went through the Badlands[1] and, as we were exiting them, we discovered something most[2] bloody intriguin'[3]. The exact location of the base has been uploaded to Leniex's databanks, but I recommend we contact the owners ASAP.
We RTB'd through the Colorado jump hole, stuck clean away from Ouray, and returned to Leniex[4] via Ontario, sticking well away from the trade lanes by flyin' off the stellar plane. The data[5] was extracted into a clean, non-networked system by the Fort's technicians, but a[6]copy[6] is still stored on the Undaunted's systems. As far as I'm aware, it's unknown if the data possesses any hidden, dangerous features, but I'll leave that up to the technical team and ye lot's judgment.

The transponder has been installed on my ship, I am ready for duty, apart from that it seems that there was a paranoid Freelancer who thought I was going to kill him when I passed by.
Shows that the Legion is falsely portrayed to the citizens, not much different from the Xenos.
He insulted me and our movement, Nathaniel made him apologize to me more or less, maybe he will do it to the whole Legion officially.

I'm all set and ready to go and made my debut lighting up a rogue's pilgrim liner out in Kansas, he'd threatened a miner into filling him up and not done the smallest courtesy of paying them for their services, that kind of disregard for our working class brings out my inner Xeno knightood, let's just say the fella' didn't make any form of a profit margin from that set of choices.

Name:Derek Smith Rank:Fleet Captain Subject:Texas/California battle
Earlier the day I got an emergency call to help out some Legionnaires in Texas who had come under heavy fire by the Navy.
After the situation was evaluated I took the Last Sunrise and made my way to the battleground.
When I arrived a few of our fighters were under fire by a sizeable force of Navy ships, including two gunboat class vessels. The Sunrise's pulses and mortars made those vessels leave the fighters alone for the moment, but the Legionnaires, some of wich's ships already took damage, had to eject one after the other till only a Xeno pilot and my crew were on the scene.
We stalled the Navy long enough for the Paragon, a Judicator, and her escort consisting of Haymaker to arrive. The enemys light force suddenly left the scene leaving only one gunboat behind.
Soon we got sensor readings indicating a cloaking ship nearby. The LNS Iowa uncloaked right behind the Sunrise some moments later and forced us to take distance. Sadly the Paragon did not make it to a safe distance and got destroyed when more heavy units moved in on her.
I had to order the crew to fall back in order to survive.
After I left the Sunrise in the docks for repairs I took command of the Damocles, meeting up with the Incursius, the Iblis and some fighters to ambush the Navy capitals that were moving to California now.
Again we got readings of cloaking ships but this time we were prepared with the Incursius' cloak disruptor.
When we made the enemy ships visible my ship and the Iblis moved in to attack the Iowa first while the Incursius kept the Ithaca and Whisper of Liberty busy.
After the Iowa fell to our fire the Iblis was pinned down by bomber forces, so it was up to us to relieve the Incursius, sadly she took a heavy beating and soon her systems failed.
After this the Iblis and my ship skirmished the navy assets, defeating them one by one. In the end only one bomber of theirs was able to flee.
This will be brief, the following promotions are effective immediately:
Fleet Captain Derek Smith to Fleet Admiral
Lieutenant Jan Levenko to Major
Lieutenant Curtis Jackson to Major
PFC Cerrie Chase to Lieutenant
Initiate Kurt Walters to PFC
Initiate Nathaniel Drexler to PFC
01.16.824 A.S : I started my routine patrol through the New York system. When I arrived at West Point I already found my first contact, a Liberty Security Force Pilot called "RoyalRPG". He was quite aggressive and immediately opened the fire on my fighter, after a few seconds I was able to destroy his bomber and to continue my patrol. Not far away from the wreck of the Security Force Bomber, I was able to spot a Pirat, hanging around the tradelanes and probably was watching the fight. I gave him a chance, and told him to throw his pirate career away, or to die in a fight against me. He decided to fight against me, and after a short fight his ship exploded, unfortunately a Police Officer under the banner of LLS| saw me fighting against this pirate and joined the fight when the Pirate was already dead. A shame that this police officier also wasted his ship against me, maybe I could be able to convince him to join us.
01.17.824 A.S : Sitting in the bar at Outpost Hesperia and drinking some bear, until Fleet Admiral Derek Smith and Major Curtis Jackson entered the bar and telling me to hop into my ship for another patrol in the New York system. We arrived at Planet Manhatten and already found two contacts on our scanner, police officers, flying under the banner of LLS|, I remembered this people and told our Fleet Admiral and Major that they are not the biggest threat. Talking with the officiers for a while until out of no where a Rogue Destroyer entered our scanner range, Fleet Admrial Derek Smith immediately ordered us to attack the Rogue Destroyer which got destroyed pretty fast, after that a LLS| Siege Cruiser and the LLS| Officer engaged us, but we were able to destroy their Liberator and their Siege Cruiser. Unfortunately, Majors Curtis Jackson Prosecutor got a critical engine hit, and he was not able to use his cruise device anymore. This forced us into flying with impulse speed back to the Outpost Hesperia.

Report Begins
At 1900 hours HLT (Hesperia Local Time), myself, Fleet Admiral Smith, Major Levenko, and Lieutenant Chase set out on patrol.
Contact was made with hard target (LNS Iowa, Overlord class) at Fort Bush and the Sunrise was scrambled for anti capital sortie along with Legionnaire Athanas.
The Sunrise was overwhelmed and suffered catastrophic reactor failure, forcing Fleet Admiral Smith to jettison the core and abandon ship, leaving her drifting in space. S&R was deployed one hour ago and reports the hull intact, but she'll be in drydock for some time.
Legionnaire snubcraft employed hit and run tactics, resulting in acceptable equalization, sanitizing the area before RTB Hesperia. Kill tally is as follows -

Uhh, hi. Terribly sorry about the week and a half of radio silence, but, I've got another report for the top brass. I'm startin' to feel like a bloody main character in a holodrama. Anyways, on the 7th, I launched from Hesperia for solo patrol at approximately 2130 hours. As I was exiting the Sierra field, I received another one of those messages on civilian channels from the trade lane network regardin' a high-energy disturbance in the New York system. Naturally, I went to investigate, because what could go wrong with gallivantin' off by my lonesome, right?
Had I known that to be "an empty husk of a station[5] with barely-functional life support systems filled up with Corsair artifacts[6] in Omicron f*ckin' Kappa[7]", I wouldn'a bothered. Alas, I didn't, and thus, I did. Just in case there was somethin' off about the station's contents, I put a couple crates[8] of the stuff into my fighter's hold. By the way, when I get back home, remind me to start lifting or somethin', because I am decidedly not comfortable with how much of a sweat I broke movin' those boxes around. Anyway...
Soon enough, I was getting a signal[9] from not one[10], but three[11]Republic dreadnoughts[12]. After we amicably and mutually[13] got a handle on the situation, we agreed t'work together until we figured out a way home, or something—for the jump hole was a one-way phenomenon. Thank heaven the alien forces were all on the other side, too, or I doubt I'd be alive to send this transmission right now.
As our improbable and impromptu party of jumped-through explorers and morons made its way to a planet of some sort[14] that we had spotted in the distance, we were approached by an Auxesian patrol[15], which guided us to a system Sigma-15[16] – I think also called Luneburg? – and a Freeport[17] therein. The Republic battlegroup, including the civilians that had made the journey as well, elected to tread through Rheinland space[18] without so much as a "how do ye do" to the relevant authorities, and I have no idea what became of them.
I myself refueled at the Freeport in Luneburg, and, after the departure of the Auxesian forces, made my lonely way back to Omicron Delta, where I encountered, among other things, Sapphire Raven aboard the Eidolon Wraith. She really knows how to get around, huh? Uhh... not like that, I mean—ah, hell. Geographically speakin'. Anyway, I was bloody exhausted, and was kindly offered to rest aboard the Wraith, which I took Raven up on. I'm delivering this transmission from aboard it, even. I wasn't too keen on flying through all of Rheinland and the Independent Worlds on my own, nor through the Sigmas, then Kusari, then the same, especially as I don't think we've got many friends out that way. The Wraith, however, is back in Inverness, and with it, I'm about to fly back to the Fort to unload this cargo, then back to Hesperia.
Name:Faye Monroe Rank:Initiate Subject:The nomad invasion in Colorado/Kepler/Uncharted system
Report Begins
Hello, Legionnaires, today, the nomads have a launched a pathetic strike against Liberty in order to destroy us, they failed. Miserably. Together with Auxesia, the Legion has brought not only victory but also very useful technology for us to use, it was brought to Monterrey. The nomads were first seen in the Colorado system behind battleship Rio Grande and then were seen in the Kepler system. As w ereached them, they fled into an uncharted system full of rocks and a strange mining base that looked like it was attacked several times already. Our transport survived the attack and we got out of there before the Navy whimps would attack us, weak and stupid as they are.
Name:Derek Smith Rank:Fleet Admiral Subject:Patrol through California/New York/Pennsylvania
Today we started out for a patrol as well as a field test of the newly arrived chainguns. Taking off from Hesperia alongside Lord Commander Locklear, Fleet Captain With, Lieutenant Chase, Initiate Oh and Steve Athanas. When we held the New York gate we nearly catched an unsuspecting Rogue jumping in, but his cloaking device saved him today. Not much later a second Rogue by the name of Diana Daymarova appeared.
The Lord Commander tried to make joining the Legion appealing to her but it seems she did not take interest in fighting for a cause.
I took care of her, testing the new gun in the process.
After her ship suffered a decompression I moved to the rest of the wing who were attacking a battlecruiser. When I arrived they had ceased fire already and tried to talk to the captain, but he seemed paralyzed by the shock of the attack and did not talk with too much sense.
We left the ship floating damaged, the Navy can take care of repairing that mess.
After this we moved to Pennsylvania where we met the LNS Phoenix of the 5th fleet. Long story short hostilities broke out and we shot it down.
While patroling the mining fields later we stumbled upon another Rogue, this time in a Pelican. Its big talking ceased soon and it chose to run, again with support of a cloaking device.
We stayed in the system waiting for his inevitable return. He was sighted near Bethlehem where we got him once again, this time making sure he can not run again.
After his ships remains floated away we lingered a bit longer at Bethelehem, while the Lord Commander had an engaged talk with With and Chase I used the time to enjoy the view.
After we were sure no more dangers were roaming the system we left to Hesperia.
To the field test of the chaingun,
It is a weapon neither designed for accuracy, nor for heavy damage. Nevertheless it is a reliable source of damage when fired in a joust even though the difference is neglectable when your opponent does not evade most of your other guns.
When utilized while outturning your opponent its arcs are not wide enough to compete with those of the other guns, so it is more a weapon for face to face combat or chasing targets.
All in all a solid weapon for recruits or those who dont mind to lean back a bit in fights.
