From what your ad reads, you're looking for scientific backup and I sure can jump in on the Environmental Astrophysics part.
Have a rundown on the fields I'm currently involved with or working on, supporting my case:
Applied Theoretical Physics ◄
Quantum field theory and Applied Quantum Mechanics ◄
Quantum Chromodynamics ◄
Nanotribology ◄
Nanoelectronics and Nanolithography ◄
Molecular Nanotechnology and Mechanosynthesis ◄
Engineering Cybernetics ◄
Mechatronics and Electromechanics ◄
Spacecraft design and construction ◄
Used to look for people capable to work with me on a project combining all of these specializations but the group in question shifted itself into the never-ending darkness of the universe back in the day. Their loss, really.
But lets talk about what's in for me. Speaking of cold, hard credits here. You get what you pay for, nothing more and nothing less. So how much you're willing to throw in? Remember, the more you pay, the better your results. Don't think that the understanding of the universe is payment enough, I can very well achieve that without having you around or diverting time from my work to get involved with your endeavours. I offer services, you pay the price. Make your offer.
Payment will go by quality, how indepth the work goes and how much you're willing to accomplish. Once analysed by our scientists, they will rate the quality of the work and calculate the compensation in accordance to these guidelines. The issued work is also covered by a Non-Disclosure-Agreement by both parties. The monetary compensation varies between:
10 - 350 million credits
Now, it's all down to you if you're willing to take the job or not, then I can get into the details.

Afraid it doesn't work like that. Not that I don't trust you paying in the end, but I don't trust you paying in the end. And part of the expected expenses need to be balanced up front. Not quite sure with what type of people you otherwise cooperate, but if that's the approach you get away with usually, then I'm going to tell you now that you've chosen some unreliable partners. And don't get me started on the minimum ten million, I'm not even checking my mails for such a trivial amount of credits, yet get involved in anything that's not just having you enjoy me around. If at all.
So here's how it goes, I'll send you the contract papers and when you fail to deliver on your cut, I'll sue the living hell out of you. That's the standard procedure, libertonian way. Which also means should you fail to pay, I don't see myself bound to any non-disclosure agreement I may or not have signed.
Got a question though. You call your own scientists to rate others work, so I must ask why they can't do the necessary on their own to begin with? One who doesn't know their fields can hardly ever evaluate anything within the spectrum I work. So what's it? You just delegate the workflow?
If you want a puppy, hang up. Need some groundbreaking theories brought up and calculated, call me back.
You're a sassy one, aren't you? For someone so prideful in their work, I'm surprised we've never heard of you. Apparently, no one has. Do you have any research to cite as an example? I'm guessing not.
So let me break this down for you as simple as I can.
People - be it for scientific purposes or scary people with guns - are paid money to do jobs. Others from our side are assigned to quality assurance to manage the workflow coming in from contractors and monitor them, as spreading our projects out too much is not efficient. Common sense, no?
Now, the minimum was for the bare-bone basic quality. For example, if a contractor retrieved the samples and returned with only visual evidence. Do a poor job, get paid poorly.
Since you're a fan of the Libertonian legal system, then you should be aware that this job is outside of their territory, not within. Any sort of legal process involving their justice system does not apply here, so your greed is noted. We will not offer work to those who are more interested in profiteering. The terms are set - do the job, get paid. Do nothing, you receive nothing. Inaction will not bring you any wealth or progress.
Do not waste my time if you aren't interested in the job.

Now. There's no need to resort to this kind of talk. Then again I can give that compliment right back. There's not much heard of you besides the fact that the government is quite eager to see your heads rolling. Within the academic network I haven't heard about you either. Remember Gaige mentioned you once or twice, nothing fancy though. You flatter me telling me off should I not be interested, but you took the time to call back after my last communication. Looks to me that there's a demand on your end that isn't fulfilled yet.
That out of the way, I think we can get to business. Specify what you're interested in more detailed, Environmental Astrophysics is a broad field. According to what you really require, I'll see what's needed as payment up front. I expect quite some equipment that either needs move or acquiring. And send that paper for the non-disclosure agreement.
