Faction Name: Black Squadron
[color=#FFFFFF]Tag: Bs|
Black Squadron are an elite wing of Order pilots working to destroy what's left of the Nomad race, and the Liberty house, with also control and power over the Order themselves being lead by Black Squadron's four Admirals. With their size and fighting abilities they gained access and full control of Omicron 100, which is used as their main base of operations. Currently Black Squadron's new objective is to rid of the new species of 'Nomads' flying through the Omicron sectors, and hold back the assaults of Liberty freeing their people from the corrupted government, along with studying Nomad technology.

umm not much to say. However a few things caught my eyes:
-Flying corsairs ships, why?
Yes there is an alliance, but isn't this alliance an economical one (goods and a few guns)? I can understand the use of some ships since order's ships line is small, till 4.85 (no GB, no Cruiser, no bomber...)
-Corsair cruiser, personnaly, idk why corsair would sell you a big military vessel when they are at war with the OC and they need it on the battlefield.
-Using Corsair shield busters seems logical since you don't have access to Ageira shield busters, but I somehow feel like Salamancas should be limited to like 2 per ships
-GMG bomber? why?
-Using Liberty weapons?(defectors) acceptable(if limited to 2 per ships, "example") , but why would you use them,,,they aren't so good.

please add the Hessian Tears to your diplomacy list.

If I remember correctly, we actually only have one Corsair Bomber in our fleet, and I don't believe we'll be doing any more of that for awhile. Of course the Nepythus is and will be the first choice for all Fighters to have. Actually... All Bs| members should have a Nep before even thinking about anything else. And yes, once 4.85 comes out and we have our line of ships, there won't be a need for the Corsair craft anymore.

Well, actually, due to some of the mix ups in 4.83 (I think it was 4.83 at least), Black Squadron/The Order went hostile to the Outcasts and Blood Dragons, and they're hostile to us. The relations just never changed and we still consider each other that. As for the Corsairs selling it to us, currently I don't believe we have any Cruiser vessel in our fleet (unless there's a Zoner Destroyer I don't know about, my absence hasn't done me well), and any Cruiser class vessel that is to be purchased will of course go through The Brotherhood before joining our fleet. I wouldn't see a problem with them selling it to us as we would be assisting them in their war, unless someone says otherwise of course.

I agree with that, actually, I would prefer Bs| using either the Order weaponry and/or our Codenames/Modified Nomad weaponry (also already limited to two per ship)
' Wrote:-GMG bomber? why?
The Taiidan Bomber has always been Black Squadron's main Bomber as it was formally sold on the Corsair base within Omicron Delta. Now of course it's on Freeport 11, which we still have access to, and it's better then the Corsair base earlier as the Zoners will sell it to pretty much anyone, with of course their allies. (I never did really understand the Zoner/Order alliance, but I might as well roll with it.) - Now of course if the Bomber gets moved from Freeport 11 and on to an actual GMG base, then we drop them. (And by then we should have our own Bomber anyway, right?)

They're just there if Members wish to use them, but you're correct, they're horrible, I don't see anyone really using them in the first place. But as they are sold on Order bases, I added them to the list.

Doing so now, Swiss will update this page when he can, I've updated the official faction status.
I'd like to point out that places stuff is sold has nothing to do with who should use it. To quote my favorite example,
Planet Kurile, Samura base.
Sells, among other things, the Anubis Order Very Heavy Fighter, Liberty Vengeance guns, and Kusari guns (if I'm not mistaken). So, if we do anything by where stuff is sold, you can theoretically fly an Order fighter with Samura tag/ID with Liberty, Kusari, and civilian weapons on it. Pff.
I would drop the Liberty weapons unless the individual submits defection RP. Although at least I don't see Nomad weaponry on here, for whatever reason it is sold on Order bases... hopefully that will be fixed next version, and we Keepers/Wilde can go around blowing them off the ships using them...

Good point, I've removed the Liberty Fighter weapons from the faction status. The capital ship weaponry however stay as is, as it's the weapons that come with the Osiris itself. (I think... It's been awhile.) - As for the Nomad turrets, no there won't be any of those, and I hope they're removed in 4.85 as well.
' Wrote:It makes sense for the Outcasts and the Order to be hostile to each other. We revere and worship the Nomads while the Order tries to destroy them.
yea... ya cardi-huffing jellyfish worshipin' hippies!
Hessian Tears added and Liberty fighter weapons removed.
to add, there are only 1 zoner destroyer (mine, the research vessel Reliance) and only 1 corsair cruiser (the duality) in the fleet. I think there may be more than 1 corsair bombers, but these will be replaced with order bombers once 4.85 is released.
