I am Nova Hawken, recently appointed Guildmistress of The Core. Since coming into leadership, one of my objectives is to re-establish diplomatic communications with our allies.
We aren't currently fully aware of the situation in Bretonia and how you are coping with the Gallic advance.
We would like to offer our help if possible towards the Bretonian resistance against the Gallic war machine. As before, The Core will gladly supply the Armed Forces with goods and equipment we have either discovered or developed in the Edge Worlds. It is in our interests that the Bretonian Government remains strong.
As per protocol, we will apply for the appropriate licenses for when we bring these goods into Bretonian space. Although is there no way we could arrange something on a more... permanent basis?

Honourable Guildmistress,
It is my sincerest pleasure to meet you and to be the one writing to you. I am Admiral Sir George Richard Hall, KBE, commander in chief of the Norfolk Defense Fleet and the Cambridge Planetary Fleet. It seems to me that you do not remember the message by Admiral of the Fleet Michelle O'Brien which condemned the Core's siege of Freeport 11. You need to bear in mind, however, that she is not the one who has to deal with the problems that Freeport 1 causes on an almost daily basis.
No correspondence with the Core has happened since then, until your message. I do not know if that was due to the personal stance of the Admiral of the Fleet, or because the previous management of the Core was offended by her message, but I do see that neither of these two possible reasons are valid any more. Since both of our parties are ready for cooperation and trust again, let us begin with business.
Project BIGFISH was a contract between the Core and the BAF, where the Core was to build a Bullhead-class for the BAF, but Bretonia was to deliver all the resources. The project was lead by Admiral of the Fleet O'Brien and, as you might already happily realize, was, objectively, more profitable for the Core than for Bretonia. The Admiral of the Fleet then handed the project to Admiral Charles Davis, who, if you remember, provided the Invictus, the Crecy-class in your fleet which was part of the agreement, with a new powercore. He then went missing in action. Meanwhile we discovered that the Arbitrator, as the Bullhead-class was christened, was either a faulty ship, or did not agree with our fuel and ammunition, thus being unfit for combat. We have experts well versed into Bounty Hunters' Guild ships, but the Arbitrator is monumentally more complex. Although Admiral Davis managed to solve your problem with the Invictus, he disappeared too early to eliminate our issues with the Arbitrator, and as funding was more promising when spent for our own ships than for an uncertain project, BIGFISH fell into neglect. If I was in charge, I would have asked you for help, but the condemnation of the Freeport 11 siege by the Admiral of the Fleet needlessly complicated that. Thus, Bretonia made practically no gain from Project BIGFISH.
I feel a change in the air with the new capable leadership in charge of the Core. I will ask my superiors if I may take responsibility of Project BIGFISH, but for the start, I would like to ask you for a favour. As you know, the project supplied the Core with several Bretonian ships, while Bretonia only received one from it, built from Bretonian resources and still dysfunctional. It would be fair if this was compensated, so I ask you to send the following: the schematics of the Bullhead-class, APM technology experts, three (3) Steelhead-class bombers and three (3) Moray-class bombers. I believe that these should provide me with a solid ground to convince Admiral of the Fleet O'Brien about your righteousness in the Freeport 11 situation.
I hope that the fleet of our ships is serving you well.
We may or may not take great delight in the profitability of that venture. Although I assure you we do not give out faulty ships. Ever. When you brought it back to Bretonian space, there must have been a fault on your end that prevented you from flying it. If you brought it to our engineers as soon as you saw that error, we would have happily fixed it for you without the need for compensation.
Otherwise, yes, let us look to the future. I would be interested in assisting Bretonia with the repairs of PROJECT BIGFISH if that comes up on your agenda. Your request for our ships is also fair, given the items you have given us in the past. Would the BAF be interested in visiting us to pick them up, and to have an escort?
And yes, your ships are serving us most excellently. Bishop is a big fan.

Honourable Guildmistress,
I do not remember writing to someone with such a sense of diplomacy for years. Can your escorts meet the Arbitrator by Sprague tomorrow at 19 o'clock Sirius Time?

Honourable Guildmistress,
I have appointed Commander Seeley French to bring the Arbitrator to Sprague. The ship will be waiting for your escorts there, albeit probably captain by a different person, as I dislike letting mere Commanders undertake such long voyages alone.
Also, if the BAF could supply another Crecy powercore, that would be greatly appreciated. The Invictus has been unable to fly for quite a while now, not entirely sure why but a new powercore should fix whatever ails it.

Honourable Guildmistress,
I am sure that we have already replaced the powercore of the Invictus. Has it malfunctioned again? I hope that nothing dire has happened to the ship?
By the way, I tasked Captain John Khatri to bring the Arbitrator safely to Alabama. I was notified that the ship had left, but I have not heard from him ever since. Have they not arrived yet?
It did not seem like any effort was made to finalize the repairs on the Invictus. If Bretonia could send some technicians, it would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, the Arbitrator arrived safely at Alabama Shipyard.
