Uhm, please, people, use common sense. When you're getting told to stop and refuse but just go for the docking ring and then undock with no cargo, you shouldn't think you're safe just because the rule wording says so. It's an RP server, so you really shouldn't hide yourself behind a paragraph. It's called smuggling because you're trying to not get caught. When you're getting caught, you don't just continue like it didn't happen.

Undocking planet and getting 6 torpedoes flying towards me without any RP is not what I expected, as neither Corsair ID allows it nor event rules. If I had event commodities, maybe they can kill me without any demand, but without them, no.
demand : "Do not land on Crete"
attack declaration : "There will be no more warnings"
attack declaration 2 : "Once you land , you will be arrested"(translation : killed)
And I docked. You didnt manage to catch me. And my question still didnt get answered. When undocking, 2 minutes later, 10 minutes or 2 hours later, may I be instakilled as I was caught smuggling before? This question did not come up because of Sasapinjic killing me, it is only an example of what is happening very often today. Smugglers getting caught once, and then they are put on some kind of "blacklist" and get destroyed every time they are seen around. With or without commodities. As soon they are logged, they get metagamed, awaited at hole and killed without any RP notice.
You manage to dock and sell cargo , fine , log-off ship and try to undock later ( 15 minutes , 30 minutes , 1 hour , but not 2 minutes after ) when there is NOT hostile ship waiting for you , who just demand for you do obey him , who you refuse to obey . You have given attack messages ,dont expect you will get slowly drain of health when you only need one second to press dock to be saved by that morning fix you have cling to . I have even given you 37 seconds to realize i am still here , then i used strongest weapon for insta-kill , my first missile even miss you .
At end of day , You get bonus for cargo , i get for kill , win-win .

Don't forget you're talking pirate IDs here, folks. You can always pirate people for money even if they undock with no cargo, so you can shoot people after they have smuggled and they got caught. You just have to make a fair demand before that they refuse.
I would have done things differently if I were spazzy. This is kinda dumb because it just encourages people to borderline metagame/powergame because they would wipe enemy players out and the log onto their smuggers to drop their stuff off.
Actually, that is literally what the free is recommending to do.
It encourage people to camp. It encourages sour encounters. It encourages minimal rp and makes it into a pure pvp event with juicy traders to kill.
I would have just said that if you dock then the smuggler wins. End of story. Of it undocks it cannot be attacked from the past engagement.
A group of Skype buddy smugglers go to land on Crete....Outcast come and raid and create a distraction and clear the gates for them of any Corsair defenders. These Smugglers then undock from Crete....and are basically escorted back to Malta by the same Outcast that cleared the gates for them.
People are starting to play just one side of the equation as a group and not both.
That sucks for us Solo smugglers, that are not in a "Cool" kids group.
Well some people need to read the event page again. I was just leaving Malta to take the contraband to Creat and got killed by outcasts when the contraband clearly says can be treated as combat target by corsair id. Admins need to get this across to the trigger happy pilots. otherwise this event is worthless for smugglers. and is the 2 hour rule still in effect for the event?
The event simply doesn't make sence when you look at it from the oorp player mechanics. As mentioned above, the players are encouraged to wipe the other side clean and then trade inside... But what about returning back?
Smugglers should be a separate entity. Not something that you log in after you win a battle. To reinforce this, if smugglers dock then the chase is over.
When one side is cleaned, you can bring one delivery already to one planet? The only thing that it is lacking is a competition between Corsairs and Outcasts. So if one side is faster with the smuggling, they should get something in return, maybe a battleship Titan or an NPC titan or something which could be destroyed later at the end of the event, as third phase.
Seriously, the route is seven minutes long and you make enormous profits. You don't need to desperately smuggle AB-BA-AB. AB-00-AB is a thing, too.
