//All right I need to know if the following scenario is RP acceptable, simple.
My Order pilot receives a message from High Command to begin eradicating some Wild craft in order to alleviate some pressure on the Rheinland Forces to help better protect her citizens indirectly.
I make my way to the New Berlin system through some jump holes, making sure not to use jump gates or trade lanes. I then get to the area of the Sigma-13, and what does my scanner see? A Rheinland Cruiser and a Bounty Hunter Guild Gunship.
I thought to myself "Well, this isn't going to go down well if I'm not careful." I approach them, then cut my cruise engines, to show that I mean no hostile intent towards them. I send a message across to them by saying "This is Order Fighter, call sign Trent, to Military Cruiser, come in over."
"This is Rheinland Cruiser to Order pilot, state your intentions or be destroyed"
"I am on a mission that will benefit both our factions without us engaging combat, I will however need to get to Sigma-13, to carry this out"
"Very well, but if I hear a hint of trouble, I will bring my Cruiser in for a stroll"
"Roger, over and out"
I then jumped into Sigma-13 and started to destroy any Wild ships I could see or find.
I am doing this in order to protect innocent civilians, and eradicate the Wild resistance in the systems.
//Yes some will yell that the Wild systems are in Omegas (I think), I remembered when I got into the Sigma-13 system.
//Is this acceptable RP-wise? That and Order pilot is hunting Wild in Sigma systems, also is the Military being naughty boys by letting me through?
//My ulterior motive to this while yes killing Wild, its to gain some blasters, but I'm trying to incorparate it into RP.:rtfm:
The order exists to protect humanity against all alien and foreign threats. They can operate in any system, in any area of sirius (so long as they're using proper RP and not using that as an excuse to pvp whore).
The rheinlander probably had better things to do than shoot a ship that was no direct threat, and as you directly stated that your intentions would benefit the rheinland government and people... he was in-RP letting you through.
Now, the bounty hunter gunship probably should have opened fire on you, but he'd have gotten his butt whooped by the rheinlander for causing trouble, so he was smart at least =P
Sounds fine to me, Fletcher. The RM was correct in his stance, but I would think it would be better to have more of a superior attitude from a cruiser...
The BH kept his mouth shut?

The Rheinland Military holds no jurisdiction over Sigma-13. If I remember correctly, Rheinland and the Order work together here and there, notably at the end of the Nomad war when the Order was asked to check everyone for infestation. They should have no issues with you hunting a mutual enemy, Das Wilde.
I, on the other hand, will, in the event my Wilde finds you.

From any RM officer, in fact. This is the way I see this conversation would really go on about:
Quote:"This is Rheinland Cruiser to Order pilot, state your intentions or be destroyed"
"This is Rheinland Cruiser <name>/This is the Rheinland Military to Order ship <name optional>. State intentions in Rheinland territory."
Quote:"I am on a mission that will benefit both our factions without us engaging combat, I will however need to get to Sigma-13, to carry this out"
Now, RM doesn't really like cryptic talk. If there was a secret mission to be carried out with the blessing of the Military the Cruiser Captain would either know about it or be diverted elsewhere by his command.
"And what exactly are the terms of that "mission", sir?" And from then on you'd either come clean and really say what you're about to do or be implicated.
So you should either lie about it/not mention it, or be ready to answer questions. Let's say you don't mention it.
"I merely seek passage to Sigma-13, sir."
Quote:"Very well, but if I hear a hint of trouble, I will bring my Cruiser in for a stroll"
"Very well then, mein Herr. You may carry on."
Quote:"Roger, over and out"
I take the whole thing happened either in New Berlin or Frankfurt, right? You wouldn't find an RM ship in Sigma-13.

Oddly enough the BHG gunship just sat their smashing some Wild up, so was the Cruiser. You should have seen the Cruiser's hold, ho boy was it stocked with pilots that were 'liberated' from their ships so to speak.

And now I am terrified. But it would be a learning experience, I have never come across a 'Das Wilde' ship before.
Never crossed my mind that Order/Rheinland co-operated with infestation cleansing, but then again it makes sense.
And here I was thinking this was a hypothetical situation...
EDIT: On a side note. I think Rheinland is the only House that currently has a ban on Nomad tech and materials. The responsible either get rid and destroy it (we don't even let you land on a planet to do so, we have sealed docks on most stations destined for it), or we destroy it for them. Sometimes we don't even wait for them to vacant the ship.

A great political law to me. If only it was in every house.
