Is it cheating to use macros in base administration purposes?
Examples:
-Logging in
-Changing prices
-setting up things to build
-moving weapon platforms
-etc
I wouldn't view that as cheating. That's kinda what macros are for: easy management. In combat is another situation, but just for managing you PoB? Should be fine.

Agreed. It's not a PvP advantage in this scenario, it's just regular maintenance.
*Disclaimer: This is the way that I've been told the rules regarding macros work.
As long as it doesn't give you an unfair advantage such as a /Stuck macro or something that works like an automaneuver key or anything like that you should be fine.
As a former Admin, ANY Macro's were not allowed during my time, and not sure if that stance has changed. The anti-cheat cannot distinguish between using a macro for a base or for PVP, as it just flags a macro being used iirc. Best to avoid using one (unless a green sheds some new light).
