For reference, we have debated this in the Aoi Iseijin chat and we have not greenlighted this from our side. Our leadership and members disagree with the way this event is made combined with the lack of logic/sense in general.
Nobody wants to participate in this due to the absolute randomness/powergaming and reasons above.

This thread is literally leading nowhere. Nine pages of criticism have been responded with salt and more salt. I'd really rather see a mod closing this for the rest of the night so people can actually find constructive solutions to any of this without continuing nitpicking on each other. There is, obviously, quite much that needs to be sorted out, especially in terms of communication with other factions.
What you want is this event to not exist. All I did was respond to feedback. 50% if the feedback was people not bothering to read and asking questions.
Other people , when i asked what can be improved, said there is no improvement and they want the event to not happen.
You are going to stop this right now. Stop trying to have this event happen by calling all the haters I have and trying to shut down this event thread. I did NOTHING to have this thread get locked.

I want to be clear. Whether this event goes ahead or not is not up to us as moderators. This thread has gotten way out of control (getting way too close to rule 1.2 for our liking), way too quickly, and the civility here most certainly is up to us to control. That is not a sanction against any one particular member of the community and a rule does not necessarily have to already been broken by one person for us to do it. It is possible the thread may later be reopened - in the mean time, everybody needs to take chill pill. This is not healthy for any of the people involved or the community at large.
It's a problem of attributed values. What it is now and what this event tries to change is too large to be achieved in one swoop.
-Either Aoi legendary entrenchment is not that high of a mountain to climb, and half of kusari has been making a fool of themselves when they see yet another raiding party just barging into the Arch.
-Either this Satsuma of legend gets it's lore devalued by quite a bit, and falls from the heaven of unique shipbuilding into the realm of unusual but just uncommon liners.
-Or Dragons and Order are much more capable in warfare than they considered, but need a bunch of semiprofessional heist adventurers to show them what they should know "all along.".
I guess the easiest solution for the case is to nerf the Satsuma rarity. Not enough people that play now would be inconvenienced by a change of its lore.

1) Getting the Satsuma blueprint DOES NOT EQUAL getting the exact Satsuma of "legend" that will ruin your feeling of the "rarity" and whatever else you come up with. AFC would still need to

it. Which requires

I need to spell this out to you, not just you but everyone, becasue APPARENTLY all of you are either a) acting stupid b) plain old stupid. I hope its the acting.
2) THe KNF made, from what you guys showed, an RP thread with... 13 posts, 50% from the same person. At least this is an attempt to IN GAME gather people IN GAME and assemble troops IN GAME (not in your imagination on forums). On top of that, it's not just the 1 fleet involved but rather 2 + AFC with their NEMP bomb capabilities and assisting in the blockade running of troops to infiltrate the station. Such an event will spark in game activity of a large scale, more than 13 posts of RP that isn't RPing with yourself, and activity for factions that need it, mind you. I am writing a story in game. Excuse the hell out of me if you have a problem with it having a "fixed" ending where the attacking forces gets pushed back and the arch is taken over again which can generate a whole happy mess of activity to follow.
3) Dragons and Order in LORE got Trent into the station. They are capable of such warfare. They are trained to attack nomads. Not KNF. Sucks.
4) The Arch was infiltrated a few more times than you think, from what Golly told me. It's not that legendary. Sorry to BURST your bubble.
5) From #2, you guys complain this is powergaming? Do I have to point out how this kind of supposed "powergaming" has been accepted by some of the people that posted her? Take Auzari for instance and the city of robots she posted about. Give me a break. Or take Khalmara and the story oh how he stole an Order Battleship by getting hookers and making people drunk in order to "Steal a battleship".
And then there are the devs, which make events with pre-planned situations all the time. Additionally, they go even further by powergaming themselves as the ADMINISTRATOR of a FREEPORT and then KICKING OUT residences of said FREEPORT that had been on the station and they blanky refuse this but at the same time allow ANYONE ELSE TO DOCK ON THE FLIPPING FREEPORT EVEN IF THEY HAD NO CONNECTION AT ALL. (AFC tried to admin Newport and was denied but the Rat Pack using a FREELANCER ID can administrate Freeport 2 becasue a dev is leading the faction.)
This "powergaming" claim REEKS of inconsistency and hypocrisy. It's stupid to claim this on here and be OK with all the other crap I've seen that people turn a blind eye towards and move on. I'm not even going to start how the Administrator of the Freeport in Delta is a freelancer origonally and then OH WOW BECOMES ADMINISTRATOR CUZ I WAS THERE AND VOLUNTEERED!!!!
I'm sick and tired of explaining these points over and over.
I'm sick and tired of people complaining about story progression.
I'm sick and tired of telling you that this event serves as a way to tell a story and frankly, it's better than what has been done before.
Every base has a weakness. Every base can be taken down. Nothing is "legendarily impossible to penetrate." The base isn't made of impenetrable rock.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: IM bloody sick and tired of being mislead by the people that later post here to give negative criticism.
And then they demand respect while not leaving any positive constructive feedback.
Its funny how right after the posting for new Mods that people start being at least a little "nice".
Its really funny how the tone changes becasue people posted they want to be a mod and think to themselves that it will be ok if i post something after.
Yeah, to me it's just an act.
I made a skype thread with the official factions involved to help me create the event that will be fun and fair to all.
2-3 months ago.
I have yet to see activity on that skype thread to start helping me give suggestions on how to make this event acceptable.
You all put on your masks, but I see right through them. Keep going.
It you "care" so much then show it. Do not think that just posting to say that you are not against me will make you look better. It really doesn't. You all put on an act.
The funny thing is people read and eat it up, taking me for the lunatic and you for the poor soul. The story is quite different.
TO be perfectly straight: SRPs are powergaming too. It starts out with "i want this on my ship" and then you use others to get what you want.
Oh but AFC cant do that. Nuh Uh...
Edit: And also to mention that it is a valid SRP because for the longest time AFC needs a NPC station and this would be a route in order to get it. A large city scale party ship that would be as an NPC base but also flying around and RPing with people that approach it. I am even happily considering having no guns on it, even though that is ludicrous becasue if a transport can have guns to defend itself then a ship with thousands of people on board should have some form of defenses. At the very least if it doesn't have any guns it will be accompanied with a large escort squard
"oh but AFC is a racing faction and they cannot fight or cant fly a battleship or cant maintain a base becasue it's all too big blah blah blah blah"
