Operatives of Taskforce Strigori,

This will be the first installment of intelligence and directives that you will be given leading up to phase two. Some of the intel provided may be reliant on antiquated information, thus further investigation will be required.

First and foremost, know who has the potential to be on your side. One division in particular has displayed slight defiance during the attack on Freeport 11 perpetrated by the Overwatch, in releasing a statement via the public network to disconnect themselves from any involvement in the offensive. It's advised that you have a plan in place to make contact with this potential asset. A single subdivision can bring about a significant amount of change.

Second, asset acquisition. This brief pause prior to the first phase is an ideal opportunity for those of you not hindered by a Governing power to reach out to contacts with the potential of providing assistance or manpower to your forces. One in particular that is recommended is Harpy Squadron. As I understand it, Operator Honya is familiar with them. They have the potential to become ideal members of the Taskforce.

Third, a long-kept secret that has some use now. A Reconnaissance cruiser in the condition of near-derelict is available to be claimed. It would require several things to become operational again, not including its recovery. The engines and interior hull have received extensive damage, and all of its systems were brought offline to keep its location in the Omegas hidden from treasure hunters. It's currently tethered to an Asteroid in Omega-49, hidden within a nebula. We felt it was necessary to recover in its state, and that we did not have the resources to reconstruct and operate the vessel in our fleet.

- Operator Honya,

It is advised you reach out and involve the party mentioned previously known as 'Harpy Squadron'. There is a significant possibility that they may be willing to participate in the Taskforce, and until Kalh is ready, No other directives at this time.

- Operator Vex,

The aforementioned recon cruiser may require further investigation into its status, as we have not checked up on it or posted people to observe it in over a year. It's recommended that you take the opportunity before the Commodore notifies us that he's ready to do so.

- Operator Kalh,

Notify Chimera the moment you are prepared to begin the operation. Instructions will be provided once the signal is given.

I was just alerted to a situation that may be of some concern. The Liberty Naval Ship Providence is most likely operating in Omicron Delta. Its' true intents for doing so are unknown, but I have encountered it in the past and seems to be in relations with the Core. Recently, the LIBNAV THREESTRKFLT (Liberty Navy Third Strike Fleet) entered the system to investigate - More precisely, Captain Prescott of the LNS Arkansas. Harpy Squadron personnel were on station to report this information to me. This is something that is being kept tight lipped because not even I have heard of an LNS warship in Omicron Delta let alone a third fleet ship. This actually should not hinder us to much. 3rd Fleet would be to streached between the war on Gauls and supporting the Arkansas should she come under fire. Only downside is Liberty will know my location should the Arkansas report my position. I recommend we avoid full contact unless absolutely needed. As for Harpy, I'll leave that to Chimera.

The presence of Liberty Navy vessels in the Edge is rare but not unheard of. Avoiding contact may be necessary, but once you're out of reach of the Republic, there isn't much they can do except send Bounty Hunters after you. Mobility in this case is key, as you will be unable to afford to remain in one place for too long until phase two is completed.
