Yea 4 supernovas on the front sounds like a good idea:Dit would ciratainly give it the option of being a hit and run ship like those Order fighters at the beginning on the single player campane
I'm positive that Jinx was only kidding when he/she mentioned that. Those are fighter/bomber lauch tubes , not weapons of death and despair. If the ship is to be a BS and not a Carrier , it needs to be remodeled.
A splendid, ship! And what great ideas with the cruiser weaponry and shield... An osiris sized battlecruiser, with more regens, to supply fighters... mmmm
This should be an example for all ships, why don't we change the liberty carrier to follow this model? Cruiser turrets, cruiser shields and lot's of regen...

This are just items like say...Fuel and passengers. Only used for RP'ing a Carrier. Not only these types of ships but maby some ships for the Liberty Carrier too?
It will just add some realism to the Carrier ship class.
So what were the stats submitted with this ship? I'm interested in whether or not it'll be closer to the liberty carrier or closer to the liberty battlecruiser in terms of stats/agility.

To be honest I cant say which I'd prefer... The BC doesnt cost as much (which is a plus for me, since my trader is pretty much limited to mediocre runs and I cant make money fast), but it has 4 less turrets and 185k less armor, as well as a pretty significant loss in bats/bots and cargo space.
How's the agility of this ship? Comparable to any current ships?

The idea for this ship , is to sacrifice BS armor /shield , cloaking and to have very limited weapon arcs , in return for supirior agility and alot of regens.
- class : battlecruiser
- armour : BC like ( 300.000 )
- agility : BC like - which is considerably better than a battleship
- size : i sized it to be quite long - but still a very small target from the side / back - comparable to the luxory liner in terms of how you fly it. - it won t be too hard to dodge slower projectiles with it ( supernovas from a medium range should not be a problem )
shields : destroyer/cruiser shields 250.000
bats / bots : suggested amount is 1000 ( which is twice as much as a ship of that size "should" have.
cargo capacity : 1000
weaponmounts : 16 cruiser/destroyer type turrets - lvl9. ( highest amount any cruiser type ship has )
powerplant : battlecruiser powerplant
whats the effect of all that:
the ship is going to be very efficient when it comes to the use of its weapons. the BC powerplant allows allmost non stop firing of basic turrets and a very long and sustained fire of 16 order mk2 turrets even. - however, it cannot match the battleships firepower - and is quite limited in the use of special weapons, like mortars ( unlike the battlecruiser that can mount 2 heavy lvl10 turrets ).
the superior agility of this ship makes it easy to fly through rough space, like asteroids and debris ( easier does not mean that you can let the autopilot cruise through it ) - and it ll give the ship an edge over "normal" cruisers/destroyers. the greatest enemy the order usually faces is the BHG destroyer + escorts ( and yes, i m only speaking of the NPCs atm ) - so this ship will easily be able to overpower those BHG patrols.
this ship is not meant to go face on face with the liberty carrier. - in fact, the liberty carrier would simply wipe the floor with this light carrier, if the pilot was ( sorry for that term ) stupid enough to fly against it. - the power of this carrier lays in its size and its ability to enter places that the liberty carrier can never even dream of going to. - however, while the liberty carrier is a show off and a real flagship that can stand its ground in the front line of a thick battle. - this carrier is supposed to be a temporary base for hit & run tasks.
the BHG battlecruiser is supposed to be slightly stronger when its a straight 1 vs. 1 - but then, the BC is a single warship, while that carrier is supposed to carry some wings of bombers and fighters ( in RP )
Myself, the Bs| high command, and some other indie Orders got together, and we feel that the engine effect needs to be changed to the Liberty pulse engine. The Kusari flames just don't fit in with the Order.
