It didn't work and was scrapped, probably because one guy balanced it all by himself with zero significant input from anyone else.
There was plenty of input and it was worked with quite well, which is why it was eventually discontinued, instead of being pushed down the communitys throat like some other additions.
I am not sure why you are still going on about it, especially since your own contributions and review of the thing was taken into account.

Another thing I think would really benefit official factions and the entire community is if official factions would permit new recruits to fly cap ships, as long as the new recruits agree to undergo snub training and fly snubs as well.
Creating multiple factions on same ID wont be a problem. Creating official factions arent easy tasks so let people make them if they dare
I'm for making official factions somewhat more shiny with such toys. As for non-combat ones, their special perk ships could be bigger transports or mining ships with much greater drop ratio (as there would be only 1 ship for a faction).
Although, I don't like the money-for-death penalty. In my opinion it would be much more efficient and activity-generating if factions had to run some minirepair event and bring certain commodities to their home shipyard or somewhere.
give them a cau x but once you die you die no respawn i dont quite like the fact of respawning cap x ships which will be easily abused given the rich economy here.
also its a flagship which means it wont be thrown at everything that's red, which is exactly why it shouldnt respawn once it dies and the system should be such that no one should really be able to afford one so it wont get abused and it'll just end up as very expensive glass toy or will be used once like in a POB seige.
Or just re-implement the titan concept with less armor but insane repair costs like 2 billions per repair.
whats the point of this idea? If the ship gonna have x4.5 or x5 armor, its gnna be weak vs heavier ships again unless you give it to "heavy" battleship with highest base armor however wining vs other heavy ship will be up to your loadout and you still dnt have chance against 2 battleship or a cruiser that LM'ing you from 2.5k
Before implementing something like this, you need to think about weapons first instead of survivability.
I dont think ships need x5 armor to make them look like "flagship". Afaik most factions already have their flagship inrp.

tbh, giving titan armor to Dunkirk or Mako doesn't feel like "Titan". I think titans should have same size as Barge and different type of weapons on them or just put Barge as Titan class capitalship
Also barge not really big, i think it had 1.7K size in-game it just 500m bigger than old marduk so it would be fine

i don't want a size increase as it will just end up being a huge punching bag although a size increase as much as the nomad marduk seems fine. The point of a titan Mako or a titan Dunkirk would be to take on 2~5 valors at the same time and come out victoriously or at least severely damaging all the valors ( lets assume all these pilots are noobs and none of them have cerbs or know how to fight without charging). i like the concept but i dont like the potential abuse it will spawn. titan's should be insanely hard to maintain, really hard to repair(costing insane $$$$), require alot of team effort to build and made sure that the ship is not really thrown in every fleet fight ever.
also this wont make much sense but a mako titan should be only 2x or 3x strong as a mako not 3x stronger than a turtle or a ransuer. because thats the specification's of the ship, it should be in accordance to the base armor only.
