The reason we're giving you a hard time is because the order, by RP, does not hand out battleships left and right, they're extremely valuable and short in supply. On top of that, you DIDNT ask black squadron if you could use one, you've been flying around with a XENO tag, and the only thing you do is sell weapons...
Why do you need a battleship for an arms dealer? Use a transport like everyone else.
PS. Is it just me, or does this guy sound like Akumabito, mk2?
Now this is a personnal pet peve of mine, but why do indies dare call themselves Admirals? I don't get it... there are no other forces of your similar stature to command. 0~0
How simple logic " He have a bs damned capwhore kill him"... its really uncool... think about it first, someone in capship can have great RP as well, you know? Except Bounty hunter in Battlecruiser that is hehe.
EDIT: Its was halfly to topic... its just i see again people telling something about people in capship suck at RP and w/e
I buy things I don't want to make an impression on people I don't like.
I think indies who command Battleships should call themselves Commodore.
Or Captain, since a Captain is someone at the head of a ship, or commander works too.
The head of a ship is a Captain, someone a bit higher in rank, but still the head of one vessel, is a Commodore.
Anyone in charge of a group of ships is an Admiral. An Admirals 2nd and 3rd in command are the Vice admiral and Rear admiral.
Guys, about the RP of patriot, he was in Omicron Gamma.
I was having a duel with another battleship, and he says in system chat "can i join the fun".
Then I got the message from Bs, and confronted him. Told him he was wanted by the Bs, I asked him to relinquish the ship, or have it destroyed. Then he started talking smack about Bs and Dboy, at which point I attacked him. Then he docks at Crete, and says "//great OORP attack, thanks" and logs off.
10 minutes later, he undocks and tries to attack me, and dies. Then he complains he was destroyed by 'allies'.
Don't be fooled, he ain't a good RPing osiris captain being hunted by power hungry factions.
Yes, as a matter of fact, they do... it's called a 'Captain' or a 'Commander'. Lovely little word. 'Admiral' implies command of a large task force, a very high position above and beyond one ship and its escorts.
Quote:Not to mentioned you claimed you got thatr Osiris before it was even part of the Order! And if you are an ex-prisoner, as it says in your story, why would the Order simply give you an Osiris. We would'nt!
Yes, I'd like to pick over that point...there was one Osiris constructed outside of Order shipyards, the original Osiris featured in SP. It is not possible for anyone but the Order and the Liberty Navy to manufacture the Osiris, and I strongly suspect that the Liberty Navy would discontinue their production after the prototype, because, looking at it, the Osiris is intended as a testbed. As far as sheer combat goes there is no way the Osiris can take on a Liberty Dreadnought, an only slightly larger and slower ship with a much higher armor value. It was designed as a platform to test the Nomad-inspired cloaking devices, advanced scanner technology (much in the manner of the Spyglass) and engine improvements. In vanilla Freelancer the Osiris is too small to be combat-effective against any of the Battleships it would have faced in combat. It may be small but its armor is negligible at best, hence the Cloaking Device. The only way one could acquire an Osiris is from Evora Shipyards, or by employing a magical time machine to take one back to the Single Player campaign, kill Orillion, and take his place. Logical Progression.

Second off: The Osiris wasn't around 40 years previously.
Third off: Being an ass to everyone around you gets you SO far. Good job, I think if you keep it up you'll solve cancer! And AIDS! And make the sky rain chocolate and gummy bears!
Fourth: At least you saw reason, finally, and posted a nice pretty thing offering to sell your capship if the RP is found unacceptable. Good job, you have lifted the mark of "Akumabito Mk II" from yourself. Kudos, for serious this time.
