....slowly waking up from his long sleep, he open his lids just to find himself docking on the stations platforms.
As he slowly gets up he notices that its raining outsides. He shivers a bit and takes up the coat which rested on the armchair. As he continued heading for the door he noticed that he hadn't shaved himself. He thought back and could not remember when he properly shaved himself. His beard was thick and gray, with barely visible scars underneath. He looked into the mirror and smirked at the face which he didn't even recognize anymore. He put down the coat and started shaving. After that he opened the door and went outside, where he found the guards which escorted him to the Governors Mansion. He didn't even bothered knocking, he just entered the room just to see three men standing and having a conversation. Uhm sorry for the burst at the door, I lost track of my manners lately. I see Professor is here, and so is Aryn. I am pleased you two are doing okay, well at least you look good*chuckles a bit*and look at me, all worn out. Then he looks towards the third person with a surprise on his face, and it seems that the third person got a little bit scared of the pale looking Momoshiki with thick, gray beard wearing his white suit. Oh sorry if I scared you there.he then approaches the third manMy name is Momoshiki Kijima, of the Kijima Family, loyal to the Shogun of the Blood Dragons. he then slightly bows before the man, then they shook hands as a gesture of good will with nods from both sides. So gentleman can you inform me on the progress? I would inquire the information on what we have done so far? From my side I can tell you that the Shogun and my respected Dragon Head Daimyo are pleased with our progress, and most of all very grateful to you for your assistance on the matter. I am also ordered to tell you that we very much appreciate you keeping this project a secret. It means a great deal to us. He then bows again as a sign of great respect and then awaits for the reply from the professor for he thinks he saw that professor had something in his mind wanting to share.
Aeryn bowed "Konnichiwa Kijima-san. Well we are here discussing the possibilities of a quick start for our new project. I was just discussing with Nerva the possibility to start in sector BT 100. Quick summary. In that area, which we called Kalimatan, we had a couple of settlements. Attracted by the tropical conditions, the settlements were created mainly to house our civilian population, with production lines on Melbourne Island. After our evacuation, the Royalists didn't maintain any people in there and of course, the jungle found a way to take their land back. Our Crayterian surveys on the area showed that while the buildings are damaged, they are still structurally solid, with 4 Settlements being estimated to be fully repaired in less then 5 months. We are talking about Belle Verde, Melbourne, Ciudad de Rosario and New Valter being able to house in total 34 thousand people." he stopped and then Dean entered the conversation "My name is Richard Dean I am here as a representative of Athene Squadron and I am here to do a more in depth scan of the planet to see what the Gauls really done here. However, I didn't came alone. I brought 1500 construction drones, complements of Aland crew to help with the repair effort."
Aeryn smiled "Don't ask questions, Hephaestus Company loves using drones as they say is faster and easier and also cost productive. But anyway, the Company is preparing to also send an addition of 670 workers and specialists to assist the already present workers. Now, two things which I want to know. First from Nerva, have you made an estimate of the cost involved in restoring this settlements? Second, to Momoshiki-san, have your daimyo received the draft we sent regarding Dragon status on the planet and in Crayterian Space? And as for secret, this benefits both of us and we must not let this be destroyed by other people views. One man terrorist is another man freedom fighter, pardon my expression."
"From what I have seen until now, it will cost about..." he takes a short break to think "...about 330mil Sirian Credits." He then proceeds to send everyone a list of materials:
"Now, I know it looks a bit too much. But there is no need to bring everything at the same time. First construction materials and then we can start with the others."
Aeryn read the list from Nerva and he scratched his head "Hmm I think that we may need some more but will see. As for workforce, we have some construction drones and already asked for additional Hephaestus Workers. We will also put some funds in place and if the Dragons wants to send some people, we can arrange for them to stay on Gemini colony. Anything else gents?"
The repairs and rebuilding of Borneo have been started and are progressing at an astonishing rate. Daimyo Kijima is about to make his first personal visit to the planet since his brief visit after the Kijima games 6 months before. As the shuttle craft begins it's decent over the eastern district of the planet. Hisayuki looks closely at the images of the district renamed "New Greater Kyoto" it is clear from his expression he is pleased with the progress that has already been made.
The shuttle craft lands on a small landing pad approximately 20 metres from one of the new settlements. Daimyo Kijima and his assistant Tengan Seibei exit the craft and are immediately greeted by a welcoming party led by Aeryn condor. They exchange pleasantries and begin to walk into the settlement continuing their conversation.
Thank you Aeryn for organising this visit on such short notice it is rare that I have the time to check up on my clans projects personally but this was too good to miss. It has been many years since I have had the opportunity to come planet side, Kyoto has everything you could ever need to forget you are stuck in space but you just cannot beat the real experience.
Hisayuki stops and takes a deep breath in.
Real air. I could get used to this if we had the time. Let us continue.
I came here to discuss the relocation of 1,000 skilled Blood Dragons from Kyoto to Borneo. These range from builders to scientists it should continue to speed up the repairs and make sure we are ready for large scale relocation. This will also prove to the Blood Dragon Shogunate that this project is worth the funds we have invested into it. Do you think we this settlement can handle the additional population?
