Hello! Would it possible to add a few new dice commands to the server? Right now, we have /dice, which works as a standard d6 die roll, plus /coin, which acts as a d2.
But what I'd like to see is a slew of polyhedral dice added to FLHook. The goal here would be to offer players the chance to mix in some RPG elements with their Freelancer experience. The standard array of polyhedral dice are: d2, d3, d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100 for percentage-based rolls.
I feel in particular that the d100 would see some use in hacking-related roleplay, but it would be totally fun and awesome to see all of the dice mentioned added to the server!
The commands themselves could simply be:
/d2
/d3
/d4
/d6 (An alternative to /roll)
/d8
/d10
/d12
/d20
/d100
An additional feature could be to allow multiple dice rolled at once. For example:
/2d8 would queue two d8 sized dice to be rolled simultaneously and displayed as separate results.
A third example would be a command that would allow a player to roll multiple dice in one command, and have the results totaled for them (Math is hard, sometimes). Example:
/3d6t , where T = The total sum of the three separate dice rolled.
I know very little about coding, so I'm not sure about how much work would be involved in creating the dice commands that automatically total dice rolls for the player. In the end, it would be nice to see the simple polyhedral dice rolls added!
Uhhh does it? I haven't honestly tried typing the dice command that way, but I'll have to try when I get home in... *Checks time* 7 hours.
If it does, I'd still love to see the dice totaling command. Sometimes when you're rolling fistfuls of d6s or d8s, it chews up time trying to add everything up together.
I do still wonder if multi-roll and dice totaling commands could be made a thing, however. I feel somewhat silly right now, but not completely - If anything, I'm stoked that the base command works!
Allow items to be locked via ship tag rather than ID. This will allow people to buy faction IDs without having to get someone else to log in for them.
(provided they have the rename password)
