Chief engineer Anna Neumann, who is overseeing the construction of the Shantar-Maru, has reported on its progress.
The carrier has been completed to the specifications detailed in its publicly available plans.
No weaponry has thus far been integrated onto the ship. A maiden voyage around Sigma-59 is an appropriate measure to ensure the ship is functioning properly and fully spaceworthy. A fighter escort will be organised in order to ensure sufficient security during this testing.
The Shantar-Maru has successfully completed its maiden voyage in Sigma-59.
The flight was conducted under fighter escort and proceeded without issue. This success is a victory for The Guild and Project Kikou. The carrier is to enter service immediately and act as a force projection device for the GMG paramilitary.
