Indeed, reading over my captains' action reports and a quick talk with the captain of the Shamrock Bay I can see there was a bit of hostilities. I am certainly open to discuss this with you further, but if I may, the last I remember in my service to the Navy before my departure, were you not apart of the 5th Fleet? Have they turned on you so easily as they claim us to be terrorists? If you don't mind my asking, that is. I'll await your reply, in the meantime I'll compile our information regarding the cruiser Hampshire.
I will attach the official Memo the 5th gave me below. After that, I attempted to contact first fleet and not a single person answered me.. Then I hear from the 6th|LNS-Hampshire that i am to be arrested and removed from the Amenhotep and that "High command" wants me. When i refused he attacked and the rest you know as the Shamrock came to my aid.

While I'm aware of how much it feels to be turned on by what should be your own people, I will let you know that Admiral Blackburn has had several instances where fighting has always been on his mind. No talk, no reason, just a blip on the radar and he sees to go absolutely mental.
I'll relay here a bulletin that is open to all, where linked is a declaration by Blackburn himself of his status.
In addition to this, his continued disregard for his own kinsmen, the Navy, Police and such, only further suspects him of being a lost cause.
As for the discharge, we've suspected the Fifth Fleet to be home to a small cell, but nothing as blatant as the Sixth is. The idea is probably to reduce the number of competent captains at their disposal, as was the logic with the last invasion. With you and your crew out of the loop, it'll be simpler for them to rally up the dim and soft to meld into a new infected threat.

I thank you for this interesting information, It seems some of this is coming together for me. It does make sense to get rid of people who could get in their way. Blackburn is someone that should be "out of the game" permanently if you catch my drift. As for a possible small cell in the 5th| I think anything is possible. My only regret is not catching this sooner.
On a side note... are you related to Jeremy Hunter? Your last name put me off my guard for a second.

Believe me, we've tried brute force, but that guy keeps coming back, even after his ship sustains monumental damage. Thank grief his gun crews can't stand up in a skirmish. We'll continue to build up our dossier on him and the rest of the Sixth, and see if there's anything you may be able to utilize. Any information you may be able to acquire about the Navy's internals would be of great benefit to the Battlegroup, and would likely save lives in the process.

Out of curiosity what led you to let the Xeno from Texas last night live? Im not questioning your intentions but I am merely trying to understand Harmony's Diplomatic situation. The last thing I would want is that thing finding out exactly where I lay my head and then bring an avoidable fight to Bering.
Last night's encounter with the Xeno pilot was an unexpected variable, I'll admit. However, I can assure you that had either I or the Major been in a ship capable of reliably taking on a fighter (i.e. not a siege cruiser or an 'Upholder'-class bomber), that fighter would like have been engaged. The Xenos have proven themselves enemies of Liberty against both the Navy and us as well, and I'll advise you to be mindful of any 'offers' they may give you. They're opportunistic from my experience, and they will not hesitate to fill your head with any of that 'patriotic' rambling they put forth.

Commander, Thank you for the quick response. I try to ensure my presence causes no waves. So forgive me if I seem to over bearing in my questions. One can never be to careful especially someone like me who has a lot to lose. It seems 5th| is now added to the list of enemies that want me. So I try to be extra cautious.
