For the past 10-15 minutes there have been idiots on from another server:

Ya know, a part of me would love to shoot down people that do stuff like that.

...but even if I was allowed, what's the point?

They shoot themselves in the foot just fine by doing it, because I'll bet 6 lugnuts & a slice of pie that the vast majority of people that see the server name will make an extra effort to never sign onto it.

or, it could just be me.

A solution: we could just ignore them, & they will scurry away:D

Advertising a "competitor" in game should be ban-able

like on Any FPS server I've played in

You can advertise on Forums, no prob with that, BUT DON'T SPAM THE IN-GAME CHAT!

I wouldn't outright ban advertising another server. What if a friend is just recommending it to another?

Saying it aloud on the System chat I frown upon, I agree with that.

But private and group chat is logged to, so if friends are just recommending another server for various reasons like: Can you join my faction on "" server, what do you think of "" server?

I have never really come across this kind of chat until now, but whoever was advertising that server, the admin of the said server should have a few words with that player.

It may give it bad cred.

That my 2 cents.

EDIT: PLEASE take off the IMG tags, its resizing my screen a big way, I only run a 1000 x 700 something!
