The Core would like to approach you for a business proposition. We need some middlemen to help us ferry a potentially less-than-legal discovery we've made in the Edge Worlds. A huge cache Artifacts on a planet entirely under our thumb.
You might be asking yourselves what makes these different to the ones produced by the Corsairs. There is something undeniably special about them. Upon touchdown on the planet, our marines discovered intact scientific equipment, as well as a small graveyard of long-abandoned ships, their cockpits broken into, of Rheinland origin. All communications equipment had been destroyed beyond repair. Further exploration has lead to the discovery of many interconnected vaults filled with all sorts of treasures - so far, all of them seem to be inert. The vaults seem untouched at first, but some of them indicate evidence of a cover-up by someone or something.
Unfortunately, this has caused the Wild to step up the ferocity and intensity of their attacks against us in the region. Whatever we've found, it's pissed them off. That's got to mean they're special. Or important. We're holding out fine, but this has pretty much put a stop to any plans for regional expansion. For now.
Either way, we want to make the most out of this and make some money. For both us, and yourselves. We'll give you the first shipment at a discount. Interested?
You were very much right to contact the Marauders, we can certainly help you put your goods to market. I would like to know some things first though.
How many you estimate there might be so that we know if this will turn into a long term deal
Whether you believe our own ships might come under fire by hauling these
Which planet it is or at least the departure point where we would pick them up
Do you have any plans for the ships you found
I'll instruct some transports to move into the area in the meanwhile. By the time they get there we'll hopefully have this sorted out, if not i'm sure there's plenty of wreckage around for them to work on.

Nova Hawken,
Interesting proposal indeed, and you made a smart move contacting the Congress. Not going to lie, being contacted by the Core to violate house laws is a tad surprising at best, nothing that profits won't make me overlook. While I wouldn't say our specialty is smuggling, I prefer discretion. We'll get these precious relics to the people who want them most. You tell me where to direct my men, and we will clear those vaults out one by one, and add a bit of coin to our pockets while were at it.
Deputy Marauder Cash Ivankov, It is good to do business with you again. Allow me to address your queries:
The network of these vaults is vast. We are certain we're only just starting to scrape the surface, literally. Each expedition we make bring back more and more plunder. Most assuredly this is a long-term deal.
Your ships will be protected. Omega-55 is on the fringe of House space, and our patrols are more than what's needed to keep would-be attackers off your backs.
You will be picking them up from Dagger Station in Omega-55.
We have already started work on returning these ships back to the Rheinland Military.
You may actually be interested in the debris nearby Dagger Station. We haven't found much of a reason to frequent it, although I believe it's a graveyard for Corsairs and Hessians.
Congressman Rick Tiltman, Likewise it is also good to be doing business with the Congress once again as well,
The Core believes that to maximise capital, it's best to have fingers in as many pies as possible. There doesn't seem to be a competitor to Corsairs in the artifact market, thus we see a good opportunity to discreetly move in. It's better than simply letting these items collect dust anyway.
We'd rather have it that the Congress collects the artifacts from Dagger station, rather than the vault itself. This is for security reasons as you'll understand. The plan is to get these into the major House markets and into the hands of those who'll pay highly for them. The Junker's large stake in the Sirian black market is perfect for this.
On the matter of the wrecks, it's a shame about the Rheinland ships. I'm sure there are many interested parties that would be willing to purchase them. Regarding the wreckage around Dagger Outpost itself it appears that they are mainly in two clusters, to the galactic left and right of the Outpost. The cluster to the left appears to be mostly of Corsair design along with some larger wreckage, possibly from a station or larger destroyed vessel. Our survey ship was unfortunately unable to get scans on the condition of the ships themselves due to the presence of several weapons installations and some kind of jamming present in the area. Given your invitation to investigate I assume this is not of the Core's doing. There are a significant number of ships along with the larger wreckage in this area and I personally believe it should be relatively easy to simply bombard the automated installations from outside their range, but I believe that any effort on that part would need to be undertaken by the Core.
There are only a few ships to the right of Dagger and these represent very little that should challenge our reclamation efforts.
Regarding the Artifacts themselves I believe we can do business and unless you have more to add i'll instruct our captains to start shipment immediately.
Thank you for your information regarding the wreckage field. It sounds like something we will need to investigate much more closer in the immediate future.
If you are ready to start shipments, please do. I'll throw in a personal bonus of 10,000,000 credits for the first delivery. I assure you, this endeavour will bring strong profits for the both of us.
