Lots of good ideas on Junkers. Some see us as pawns to their greater scemes. Others see us a place to store goods. And many people use our bases a place of refuge when they are running. No one pays attention to Junkers and no one cares about us. However if we were to vanish Sirius would start to crumble.

So next time you are being pushed around by that bad ole pirate or government faction just remember they still need you. (Even if they never RP it that way.)

I can proudly say I have never been in Kusari space. Nothing there worth effort :P

Respect is the keyword. A Junker alway must have respect to others.
If an Outcast dislike the way i talk, i am doomed. When i go for Gamma and notice a fleet of Corsairs i would be stupid not to be a kind of servile. Which does not mean to play the pinata donkey, but words always have to be choosen carefully. If anyone wants me to leave his home, i go without question (this case not happened yet).
Also i must have something to offer or i will get no foot in the door.

Nevertheless i like to argue in a sarcastic or ironic manner with lawfuls.

To put this post in one sentence: A Junker, travelling through Sirius, has to be very clever.

you should be respectful, yes, but never be weak.

My junker ship's captain is an ex general from the IMG war, he wont let anyone talk down to him no matter who they are.

Thats the trick. To give the one in front of you the imagination to be above you. Pamper his ego (without overacting being slimy) and you have won, but try to keep the initiative. At the end you will get your will and can be proud of yourself. This system is called "manipulation".

I used Kusari as a shortcut once and got in a fight with Unbreakable Mercenary.

Haven't taken it since.

Also, being a Junker means acting like a pure and total capitalist. We're allies with people because we profit from it. And we expect similar polite treatment because people profit from us as well.

Plus in my mind a Junker is crude and charming, especially those who ferry questionable goods throughout Sirius. It often means the difference between life and death if you can talk, joke or bargain your way out of a tight situation.
