I think you might have hit a nerve with that one Dove...

And while anyone who has paid attention over the past - what, two years? - will recognize it instantly, no one is addressing it.
If people don't recognize it, they are likely to be either guilty of it or simply oblivious.
I find this whole discussion rather funny, like Peggie O'Connor and Biddy O'Brien arguing over Tim Finnegan's corpse as to whom he loved and hated more.
He's dead - Thanam an Dhul!
OK seriously...
I think we get the message.
Why dig more. If they dont wana play using Congress then oh well. It is a damn shame you guys are not wanting to keep the faction even alive for later people because your plans got foiled a little.
I'm going to go ahead and start things off on a positive note.
I've been back in Discovery since August of 2017. Since coming back to the community, I have had a few factions try and solicit themselves to me, hoping to add me to their ranks. Some folks simply used the shoutbox, while only two bothered to PM me and discuss things privately. I'll admit, I've been tempted once or twice to hook up with a faction.
But you know what set the Junker's Congress apart from everyone else?
They've been the first faction since I've started playing again to send me an invite in-game and in-character, with no prior meet up set in advance.
Because of this, I felt very much more inclined to put in an application to the Congress for a few reasons.
A: It was spur of the moment and completely in-character, so the process felt natural rather than forced.
B: Since it was done in-game, the player sending my character an invite had no idea who was behind the keyboard, ergo, that means this character that was friendly and inviting tends to approach others in a similar manner.
C: This is probably the first time since I joined the Xeno Alliance ten years ago that I was invited to join a faction in-game rather than on forum (Which usually are out-of-character invites to join a faction).
All I want to say is, keep up the in-game invite approach! Other factions could stand to learn from this. It felt so much more natural to put in a faction application when my character wanted to join a faction. This is probably why I've remained indy for so long - There is a world of difference between asking a player to join a faction and inviting a character into a faction. A genuine role play encounter where things just flow naturally and fall into place is far more enjoyable to me.
So, thank you! And please continue this methodology!
Nearly a month in waiting? Is this going to become a common place for factions I wish to RP with on this particular subject? The Congress has high standards to me but this is changing my opinion with each day of silence guys.

This Comm has been a topic of Hot Discussion in our HC Chat, and we haven't come to a solid conclusion till the last week or so. (which I have been bogged down with my own as well as family Birthdays) so, I have the comm written up expect shortly once I finalize a few bits.

Thank you very kindly. Not trying to sound rude but I am closing in on another year of this SRP work and just want it done. Thank you again for your time.
