For some time i`ve been experiencing a weird, annoing, occassional graphic bug: i can`t see the weapon projectiles, entirely at small projectiles (lasers, photons) and partially at neutrons (even more weps could be affected by this, maby i just didn`t notice it yet). Any suggestions?

I had this same problem before I upgraded to a better video card. Though I am a member of Computer Dummies Inc, so I might be entirely wrong in thinking that's what solved it. Computer Dummies Unite!!!!
Being a founder member of this society with Romer and having the best graphics card
that could come with a second hand box, I have to agree. Though the little window on
install always says "Game not recognised".

I`m running the game on highest performance, and resolution 1024*800 (or somethin like that)....and yes i got that " freelancer does not recognise your video card bla bla" but nothing happenned a long period of time. I have my drivers installed...don`t know what`s the problem :(
That is becase the card is not in the FL database. Its too new.
The res is 1280x960...
BTW, does anyone notice framerates dropping in certain nebulas? my FPS goes from 75 (vsync limited) to 35 in some nebulas of the new systems. I think its a problem with my windows install because It didnt happen before...

@Titus: I have seen the same problem, but with Corsair Tizona (sp?) type weapons. Sorry I don't have any answer...
@Korrd: Yes I have slowdowns in some nebulas. Especially when in combat, using afterburners. Also happens in Newcastle when viewing the nebula which is full of mines. My GPU (Radeon 9550) doesn't do particles too good.
@EVERYONE: First thing which helps, tick off "background dust" in the performance setting. I find cranking down the "effect detail" helps.... but then explosions don't look as good! As well "space detail" help with the mine thing above.
