Hi all,
played Freelancer over a decade ago on a different RP server and finding the Disco server alive and well was great.
I'm looking forward to the challenge of starting out fresh and as I only have a limited time to play I'll be running with the high stakes high reward strategy.

May I ask, how did you hear about the mod? We are trying to learn how players hear about us, so we can approach more people.

I stumbled across the mod thanks to you tubes often random algorithm. I've been playing a bit of elite dangerous lately and it some how linked a Disco video to me. The video I saw was a couple of years old but that just made me curious and I then went about exploring the Disco forum to be sure it was still current. Funny because Elite Dangerous was kind of a substitute for FL

Welcome to Disco (Freelancer Discovery)

Above all have fun, and by saying that, you'll learn a lot, some good, some bad, it’s all part of it

Read the forum, scan over the rules, (I say that because to try to remember EVERY detail of the rules, you'll need to be some kind of android to know it all)

You will make mistakes, you will have a good time, stick with it, don’t let the bad times that you might have govern your whole experience, as time goes on, you will find a life here as most of all players have

The forum is a huge part of Disco, probably what keeps it alive, there’s intense greetings/meetings/fights/accusations etc. etc.
