Master Vertiga
The Armed Forces has received a report regarding the conduct of one our officers in the field and apparently you are a witness to these accusations. We would be very grateful for any light you may be able to shed in regards to the actions of Commodore Kaze Dagon and any Auxesian craft within Bretonia on the 25th of this month.

Good day, Admiral.
I was expecting this communiqué. Since Auxesia was requesting the same information from me today already, I will simply copy the transmission they received, minus a few personal remarks. You will find all necessary information about all involved parties in the attachments.

You probably want the long story, so take one of your waffles and a bottle of fruit juice, because this will take a few minutes. Basically, this all began when one of my scouting drones stumbled over a person who was believed to be dead - my Chief Science Officer, Thallia Thorn. Two years ago, she left the ship and never returned. We first assumed IRG assigned her to something or that she was digging up ruins and sandcastles in Omicron Zeta on Magur, and it turns out it was the latter, combined with the fact that all known sirian jump holes leading to Omicron Zeta are gone. Basically, she was trapped there without a chance to call for help. A few weeks ago, something happened and she and her friends there managed to escape from Zeta, rescued apparently by some libertonian research vessel. So they ended up in Liberty, in Penny, where we found her. Big happy news and such, since Thallia was a good friend of mine, a valued xenoarcheologic of the IRG and also Locklear's former girlfriend.
[...]
So, recalling that Locklear once interrogated me about Thallia's whereabouts as he found out she used to work on the Apahanta, I told him that Thallia was back and alive, and so we moved to Vespucci for the time being and Locklear and Thallia came aboard the Apahanta as neutral ground, seeing each other and falling into each other's arms. The Apahanta remained in Vespucci for the night, while the two spent their time together. I know one of your ships saw the Last Sunrise moored with the Apahanta in the orbit of Guadalajara, and apparently the A/)-Strix was piloted by everyone's favourite robot man, Leviathan.
Once the meeting was concluded, Thallia moved to the planet as she used to live there while the Sunrise and the Apahanta remained in Vespucci. We flew around a bit, Locklear on his ship again, and stumbled over your friend, Madame Aisling Cenn... let me quickly look it up... Aisling Cenncroithi, is that pronounced correctly? Anyway, the old chick of the Winter Rose and the Harvest Moon. A bit of small talk happened and it turned out the Lady was heading for Omicron Delta. Locklear offered her an escort to there, she took the offer and invited the Apahanta to tag along, [...].
Turns out, and I should slap myself for not thinking about it, people didn't really enjoy the sight of Lady Cenncroithi, an independent warship and the Lord Commander of the Legion to roam around together, through Bretonia. Right in the moment of us entering Bretonia from Magellan, Commodore Dagon quote-unquote welcomed us, pinning us down with the authority of a sassy Bretonian Commodore. Apparently, Miss Dagon didn't like to see Locklear in Bretonia. I might add that Locklear used a snub that was, apart from being a Prosecutor, not running under Hellfire Legion identifiers. He was basically in civil. Your friend was on the Winter Rose, a Spatial-class vessel, and we were on the Apahanta since we have permission to enter Bretonia with it. [Keeper Leviathan of Auxesia joined at this point as well, just to spy on what was happening.]
What happened after this point was that Commodore Dagon and another bretonian officer escorted us from Manchester to Omega-3, to Freeport 1. The Commodore wasn't subtle about anything of this at all, as I recall her having shot the trade lanes in Cambridge to slow down Leviathan at the Ross Planetoid. Not that there was a particular reason for her to do it. She simply did. We later reached Freeport 1, where Dagon remained for a while while Locklear and the Winter Rose and us headed over to Aland. During the entire transition through Bretonia, Locklear and Cenncroithi were trying to figure out what the hell Dagon was up to, and Locklear concluded that Dagon was acting the way she did out of a grudge, saying this was more of an act because of the Legion being friends with Auxesia. Apparently Cenncroithi felt the need to have Leviathan join the private channel right in the moment of Locklear telling us about what he believed what Dagon's motives were, only to get angry about the pair of robotic ears that suddenly joined the conversation in this incredibly crucial moment. Out of anger the patched himself out of the comms when we roamed around at Aland, and I decided it was a good moment to bail out myself since I really have no drive to get between Dagon, Leviathan and Locklear. So we cloaked and left for now, heading back to Freeport 1.
While the Apahanta refueled at the station, we happened to eevesdrop on a rather loud and heated argument between Dagon and Leviathan who seemed to come from the direction of Sprague. Commodore Dagon questioned the quote-unquote alliance between Bretonia and Auxesia and your robot boyfriend complained about everyone wasting his time. Leviathan then went for Cambridge and Dagon stopped for a moment to throw her typical insults at me, telling me she knew you and I are having a comm channel and then left for Cambridge as well.
The Apahanta then jumped back to the Omicrons, to Delta as Cenncroithi was heading there, and shortly after our arrival, her and Locklear showed up at Freeport 11. Cenncroithi moved to the Harvest Moon and Locklear rented a room on the freeport to rest and recuperate, Aisling apologized for having patched in Leviathan without telling us, but the damage was done already anyway. Our ways split then again as I ordered to have the Apahanta move to our hideout. It was an eventful day and the aftermath of this would be dirty.
