I agree bounty hunters do have a strong shipline. If your a bounty hunter why not use a bounty hunter class vessel? The designs are just the right type to hunt anything down.

BHG has a nice set of ships. There is no reason they should want a lib frig. Especially since it is a thrusterless, slow turning dog.

voted "yes" and "yes" - mostly cause you haven t offered any compromising options, but only point blank yes or no.

if confronted with such a choice, i d rather vote for freedom, cause it offers the option to RP to purchase or earn such a ship under roleplay circumstances. a strict no kills a lot of roleplay. - besides, gaining the right to fly non faction ships has been executed by many a players in the past - starting with fighters up to battleships - and has been considered in-role for some of them.

so - yes, of course, - if roleplayed, a BHG is allowed to fly basicly anything, starting from a BHG baracuda up to a corsair dreadnaught. - there is no such restriction when we take the "roleplay" aspect seriously. besides, the theft of even battleships has been roleplayed by NPCs allready. - i am most certain that someone can roleplay other ways aswell to gain access to such hardware without a story of theft. - there is not a single reason why that may not be happening / allowed.

the ship should not be purchased just cause one can - but of course, even a BHG ship should not just be purchased cause the BHG can - but there should be a reason why he chooses even a hammerhead. saying that someone simply cannot choose a liberty BC as a BHG means to consider every roleplay that might pop up in the future - regarding that topic to be worthless and for that matter "bad roleplay". - so, you cannot deny the access to a ship if we play on a roleplay server. - in the end, its such exceptions that make most peoples roleplay.

you think liberty navy allow someone who work only for money to buy their battlecruiser ?

and basically what you say, all can roleplay every ship. stolen ships. so corsair can fly outcast destroyer, because he stole it. or outcast can fly rheinland battleship because they stole it. or no?

What Vladimir said. The notion of the Liberty Navy selling their own, modern ships to anyone is ridiculous, let alone a BATTLECRUISER, a capital ship class second only to battleships and dreadnoughts in size and armament to a group that shoots their own men.

in that case i would ask you: "Can an outcast fly a bretonian battleship?" - sounds even more far fetched than a BHG flying a liberty battlecruiser. - still, we accept that the roleplay required was sound and well executed. - do we really want to leave such exceptions out?

if those sides involved in such a RP agree that the person in question really has his reasons, good enough reasons to fly such a ship. ( and such RP must be two sided, no doubt ) i don t see a problem.

if you , as a corsair write up ( or better roleplay in game ) that you can, or better MUST fly a rheinland battleship - then i don t see a problem with it. - however, it must be roleplayed. - those being affected by that must agree that whatever happened had to lead to the result of - in that case a corsair flying a rheinland battleship.

Corsairs on rheinland battleship? Mmm. Reminds me that Bounty hunters on nomad battleships in 4.83 ended up at Temple of Revenant sliced and packed in compact containers and put into starfliers.

A ship given to a top level leader in a clandestine alliance during a war and during an earlier period in Discovery history when men who could blow up stars with their eyeballs walked the server.. not equatable to a Bounty Hunter using a capital ship of a different faction, which he should be neutral with. They also already possess their own capital ships, whereas I don't think the Outcasts did when the Fantasia was started.

even if only one story out of one million is really good enough to justify it - it must be a yes to both. - a "no" means that no matter what you do or come up with means that you are not allowed such exceptions.

we most certainly agree that its not common behaviour of the navy to "sell" their ships. - we are talking about exceptions. - on a regular basis, i agree - it won t happen.
