Ciarán Kelly, long time no see! How have you been keeping?
Deep Space Engineers (=DSE-) is a co-operative venture made up of a sizeable number of ex-employees of a former Deep Space Engineering group. We are specialists in the construction of trade lanes, jump gates and shipbuilding.
Our presence in Poole is totally benign militarily and are contracted to complete the trade lane to Caenarfon (completed in record time) and as you can see Dorset Station is ideal to construct the trade lane through to Plymouth Outpost. =DSE- has been very busy here for many years in Dorset, so our presence is well known and accepted. Dorset is owned and operated by =DSE- and is our Base Ops.
Our defense platform is for that purpose only. To safeguard the DSE workers and supply merchants. There is the imminent threat from Gallia and the constant attacks by the Corsairs. Part of the requirement when we gained the contract was BPA) insisted we had to erect a defense platform as the BPA) and BAF) are highly distracted at this time. We were not happy at all with the extra unnecessary costs but business is business.

Mr Veltman,
I cann'y say ye name rings any bells, ye say we ment before now?
Anyway. Ye seem te have all ye plans set out an ready te begin we tha next stages o' ye operations then.. We wish ye luck in them endeavours an would'ne like te see ye operations out here in New Derry (Poole) come te a sudden end, if ye get me drift? Basically, sir.. what tha MLA ay offerin ye right now is a chance te make a deal that can see ye on tha roight side ay any future changes in tha system.. so i'd ask ye.. nae.. plead te ye.. te see sence an say ye can help us with our endeavours?
We need from ye tha followin;
Access te dock at ye station an use ye facilities
O'course we'd be willin te keep a low profile when visitin ye establishment an would'ne attract attention o'any law enforcement an such
The reason fe this access request, aside from tha natural curiosity o' tha MLA, is tha we believe ye have access te some materials we need from one o'ye stations back there in ye home o' liberty, a little oitem named 'Optical Chips'. The MLA need 10,000 units ay these things bringin te New Derry an droppin off at ye station where our man can come by an pick 'um up at a later toime.
Well Mr Veltmen, does this sound loike summin tha DSE can de in tha name o' good relations?

Ciarán,
Let us be very clear on things. There is no way in Hades I can let any "enemy" of Bretonia set foot on this base. =DSE- will not negotiate on what is in our contract. As Bretonia considers MLA as "enemy" MLA will not be given docking rights.
You have indicated you have Bretonian citizens who are looking for work? So long as they are not directly associated with Molly's then we would be open to contract work as the war has seen a massive shortfall of workers and in particular transport pilots and ships. Any illegal connection will be an immediate cancellation of that pilots contract.

The goods you have ordered will be available on Dorset in 5 hours from this communication.
If you could let me know the name of the neutral ship that will be uploading the goods, I will grant docking rights to it. You will have 24 hours from the said 5 hours to complete the transaction.
EXTRA: Good news. I have opened an account at Plymouth Outpost and asked them to hold 10,000 units of Optical Chips for you. All you have to do is pay the service charge and you have the goods. And the best part is there is no disruption to services, and you can pick them up at any time.
