it appears that the political climate among the underworld is shifting faster even than what we're used to from Liberty's political parties.
Recently Xeno Alliance ships have been supporting our vessels in combat and they completely ceased any attacks or harrassment onto our vessels.
The reason for that is unknown and we had never considered to even contact them for support. Even though their influence on the people is big, Xenos used to be something that none of our pilots would think twice about fighting off.
In addition one of our patrols found an abandoned installation in the Colorado system. While our focus is on Bering and its surrounding systems, especially Texas, we still have vessels stationed with you on Cochrane. It might be worth considering a base of operations in Colorado.
I hope you can share more information about both situations with me. I'm currently away from Bering operations and in Colorado proper if you need to meet in person.
You look exquisite and lovely, I am honored to speak with you. There have been some changes in the underworld lately, indeed. The Xeno Alliance in particular is currently lead by a leader who uses reason and logic, not mindless nationalism as previous leaders have done in the past. So they stopped committing suicide by attacking our ships but we are extremely cautious and try to avoid them altogether. There is nothing good to gain from a Xeno after all.
As for the abandoned base in Colorado, it appears I have no information in regards to which you're referring to. Perhaps you can share a few more information with us? I wouldn't mind hearing back from you...
I will let Miss Morrel give you the details about that mysterious base hidden in Colorado. Meanwhile I'd like to aboard another subject.
One year ago a convoy organized by the Lane Hackers with the help of the Unioners and Harmony had for mission to go to Planet Malta and to bring back in Bering a large quantity of Cardamine.
Our people gladly used this cardamine and our stocks are now low. We think another supply of Cardamine will be benefic. To help you in that matter -if you are willing to accept- I will dispatch some escorts until the Maltesse space. Even if I perfectly know you are experts for such operations, Harmony would like aswell to participate.
please let me know how the situation with the Xenos develops. Texas has a huge Xenos population and I believe that counts as much for the installations as it does planetside.
If we want to attempt a genuine attack on Texas with the intention to at least make a sign to the people if not already hold territory, we can't do it without growing public support.
That is a part of our campaign we've wrongfully neglected. Though I am open to hear ideas from the Hackers in that regard. The traded in Gaul cruiser will have to serve as a false war victory. Though I'd have preferred it to be a real one. Though working with the Gauls is better than suffering the Navy's reign, this is all done with the calculation that they will ultimately lose this war. I'm not willing to suffer a Gallia controlled Liberty and if it only is California.
As for the installation in Colorado, I'll attach one of the scans to this transmission.
Its location is inside the Silverton Asteroid field. Which, again, seems to be controlled more by the Xenos than the groups you control. There's many law enforcement vessels coming through and considering our supporters from Rheinland, taking on Kusari shipments would be benefitial to all of us.
More information will be available once we can bring any shipment to the installation. But we will not do that if your assessment of the location would be too riskful.
Regarding the Texas operation, it appears the dynamics of the war with Gallia have changed considerably with the disappearance of two entire LN fleets during the hypergate jump. While it was not possible in the beginning, there are now considerable chances that Liberty will be defeated and possibly even conquered. So for the sake of our House it would be prudent if you cease your dealings and cooperation with the Royalists and postpone the Texas assault after Liberty's fortunes change again. Similarly, we have also terminated most operations against Liberty's military establishment. I would recommend to turn your attention to the neighboring system of Hamburg. It is very lightly defended and a possible Rheinland internal turmoil could give you an excuse to involve yourselves and claim part of the spoils.
As for the derelict base in Silverton, it looks too suspicious and convenient to me. Probably the former owners do not exist or left for a reason. We would welcome Harmony establishing presence in Colorado and while this seems to be the most convenient solution, it is probably also the most dangerous. And trusting the Xenos is rarely the wisest choice a person can make. The Cheyenne field on the other hand is much more safe, if you are really planning to establish a presence in the system, I would recommend that location.
Commander Waldhar, your order is noted. We are of course interested in assisting all your cardamine-enhanced members with their daily needs. Let's coordinate in private the exact time and date of this joint operation as well as the proper monetary compensation.
Withdrawing our attacks on the Navy is no small request. Securing the surrounding areas was tougher than anticipated but the goal was never anything less than taking ground and pushing the Navy back. We- I have to rely on your assessment of the situation here. The Navy's loss would allow us to push forward. Which we might not be able to after this is resolved. Do you really deem the situation that dire that there won't be a Liberty left if we press the attack now?
We'll keep tabs on Hamburg. Though Rheinland is in an unstable situation itself so we will have to rely on our allies there before we can do anything in that direction. It might backfire worse than attacking Liberty head on.
As for Colorado, I'll have people check out the installation proper now. If it is a trap this is a fairly expensive one. If it is not we'll see if those parts can't be useful in the area. Maybe we can use it for a new installation in the position you suggested. I'll see to it that there will be a heavier transport brought to Colorado to assist cargo raids. It is truly despicable that it is coming to this though I guess I am in good company in regards to being pushed to dire actions.
The cardamine convoy has been a great success and the Battlegroup personel is grateful to you. We dispose right now a sufficient stock for the next months. The Battlegroup is willing to give you a compensation for your efforts.
My suggestion is to hold on with the operation until we have some news from Bretonia's battlefields. If the Royalist war machine's onslaught is halted and checked, then we can begin the attack immediately, since the home forces will still be severely depleted and will take years for the allied forces to start driving them off from New London, Leeds and the Taus.
Commander Waldhar, thank you for the good words. Professionalism is an important aspect of the Lane Hackers. You may send credits to LH~R&D, we will leave the exact amount to your discretion.
I am Provocateur Elektra King, I don't believe we've had the pleasure of meeting previously. Sadly, I find myself the bearer of less than favorable news today.
It is my understanding that in the past, a deal was made to share Lane Hacker technologies with the Battlegroup – in exchange, a delegate from the Lane Hackers was given the opportunity to work more closely with your organization. Regrettably, due to a major operation we have in the pipeline I have been the responsibility of managing an urgent recall of all Lane Hacker technology. This would include our ships, and the Spyglass components at Marshall Station. This would of course mean removing our advisor from your high command in return, if you should desire.
I understand that this development may be less than satisfactory, but it is an unfortunate necessity of recent developments.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the terms of the withdrawal.
