1. The Maquis should refrain from any hostilities against Maltese legal representatives (National Council, Cuatroce and Legión Maltesa). We guarantee that your vessels will be considered as non-hostile in Maltese space as well.
2. Your party would not support the nonsensical movement known as "Maltese Opposition Army", and any other parties that perform hostile activities towards Malta. If they interfere into your operations, you are free to do whatever it takes to eliminate the threat.
If you agree to the aforementioned conditions, we will prepare a shipment for you, with details to be discussed as soon as it is needed.

We see the little conspiracy there you're willing to damage other organisation. We must tell that you didn't understand our ideology, because making such demads to the Revolutionary forces who exlusively deal with the Royal Navy, is just a punch in our faces. We, le Maquiards, are not interested in conflicts with anyone else besides the Crown, et tearing them apart. You're putting us in a terrible position here, choosing two sides. In response to your previous message, let me clarify our position first, as it seems an unfortunate misunderstanding has driven a wedge between our parties.
1. First of all, ultimatum provides that one side demands the other side to comply in a unilateral fashion. On the contrary, we, Cuatroce, are only making business offers as our best interest is to maintain business relationships with any parties willing to benefit from partnership. Thus, our message contains only an offer, and all relevant conditions under which our business to be concluded. In turn, you claim that our message was an ultimatum, yet it was not, since we haven't made any demands, just offered you our products. If you agree to the conditions set, you get whatever is described in the contract.
2. You have mentioned a question of ideology. The Cartel does not care about ideology as long as you do not intervene into Maltese affairs. We view you favourably and wish to establish trade relations because we care about profit and about you opposing our mutual adversary – the Gallic Crown. In business space, there is no place for any kind of personal matters.
3. According to all of the above, we got an impression that you are not adepts of trade, or do indeed act as you really do not understand just to interpret our business conditions as an ultimatum straight enough for you to proclaim it a formal casus belli.
4. Regardless of your true position, any possible hostile actions you may take against our vessels will be met with an adequate and apropos response. If any representative of your party would commit an act of violence against any of our or any other Maltese legal entity's vessels, your party would be declared an outlaw in any domains of Malta, as well as in our area of interest.
5. Still you express those signs of provoking behavior, Cartel is open for possible cooperation as long as you do not cross the violence line.
